I am still in CA, in Sin Francisco to be more precise. I miss you all terribly! I've been working non-stop so I haven't had a breather and I want to go through all the posts I've been missing (I know, ambitious!)
I'm running out the door now but I wanted to make sure I remembered what password and e-mail I was using for this account. I'll be home in about 30 minutes and I'll log in again so I can update y'all on all that needs updating.

I'm sick --utterly unwell-- with vocal cord and middle ear infections.
Good news is: I'm still with Terim/Blaek (yah, no surprise, I know =)
Bad news is: He still lives across the country from me /sniff
Good news is: I'm employed! I have a great partner!
Bad news is: the pay is NOTHING and I'm thinking I"ll either change jobs or schools next academic year
Good news is: My babies are doing beautifully and growing up and and!
Bad news is: I still gotta share them with their father /sigh
Good news is: I got a dog! Penny!!
Bad news is: she requires a LOT of walking
Good news is: I got to meet Namae and Mene this summer; Gwennie joined us

awww Lyrima, I hope you get well soon! But it's good to know things are going well with you. And great to know your babies are doing fabulous! I'm guessing you had the August get-together at your place? I want to hear all about it, and see pictures! Especially of the elusive Namae... Did Gwen get drunk? I would love to get drunk with y'all ! Next time... *plots*
Menemas! MENEMAS! You seem to keep forgetting I'm on the Left Coast now! We're not in the same time zone anymore. Plus, for some reason, you always seem to call me at rather unusual times (like, I'm in the shower, at the grocery store about to pay, getting my wisdom teeth taken out, etc.). But don't you worry, I'll drunk dial you again in the near(est) future. ^-^
As for me, I'm well! I'm loving living in SF and the West Coast. I can't believe I lived in Miami for so long, seriously. I'm very busy these days so I barely have time to do much other than work and work and work some more. I'm still doing the PR/media thing for a non-profit, still doing the fashion thing, and still doing Rehash. So yeah, barely time to breathe. Much less to play any games other than the occasional Rock Band "gig"...
However, I do very much want to check out AoC. I tried Vanguard back in the days to no avail. I think I played for like a week. I just really can't devote the kind of time an mmo needs so you can really enjoy the play. I'm _hoping_ that AoC is worth it for the occasional maybe-I'll-have-time-this-month player. I see that there's a Saga presence in AoC, which is awesome. However, if I play, I might go the Stygian route which would disqualify me of Saga membership. But I can always have alts!!
So, how's everyone else doing?! I miss you guys!!! Happy Belated Birthday Sagacitydiddybud!!!

We didn't get really drunk but we did play a D&D session and discover when not to watch hentai anime. Plus we discovered that Penny is adorable, and very unstealthy where squirrels are concerned! :smitten:

Stygian's are fine in Saga, and I have several! They're no more evil than any other race, except maybe more tolerant of magic (which in Aoc is usually kinda evil.) You have to be Stygian if you want to use non-healing magic, pretty much, because every other race is so superstitious and won't use it.

SHH! Those bags are perfectly safe wherever they are.
Gosh, I really wish I would've left those bags full of gold and platinum. They would have collected quite a bit of interest by now, unless Jasyn used it to pay his bar tab. But I do believe he had my cosmetics bags, with my jumjum lipsticks and belladonna eyeshadow palettes...
