Welcome to Saga guild!
Please be sure to read the posts stickied at the top of this forum and be sure you agree with the rules and charter. This guild has a history, as you will see. It is, well, a Saga.
Saga is also part of a multi-game guild formed when a few wandered off to try other games. Sister guilds are forming, and we all come here to check on each other. This multi-game guild is currently called SagaFamily. We are indeed a family.
To become part of that, please take the time to fill out the attached roster card and post it to this message. This procedure is for the others here who will not see you in game so they can get to know you. You do not have to fill the roster card out to be part of Saga in-game although it is required to be granted Veteran status. You can do it now or in the future. You can fill one out even if you do not wish to join the larger family. There is no pressure, and no rush. Take your time and look around.
The process to have your application for Veteran status may take a period of up to two weeks.
Just a reminder: after your first post you will be granted access to the private game related forums, such as questing and tradeskills.

My name is Sir Ravenns Pureheart, paladin of Divine Light. I am a follower of the teachings and discipline of Mithaniel Marr, although I worship the true creator of the realms, the one known as the Nameless.

Tell us of your past.
I was born before the Great Shattering in Freeport when Lucan D'Lere was a mere underling. I was a member of the Knights of Freeport, and began my travels with a trip to the Faydwer as my first assignment. I was seeking an answer to a long standing family curse, and hoping to fulfil a prophecy which said that a lady and a sword would help me defeat a dragon.
I met Orrernoeth when she was barely out of her teenage years, and was convinced that she was the lady of my prophecy. We were married in the Temple of Marr in Freeport before the whole company of the Legion of Divine Light, and began our quest to fight the evil of Lucan which was beginning to grow and spread even then.
One of my earliest teachers sent Noehy and me forward in time to assess the outcome of our fight against evil. We arrived in this time only to discover that the gods were silent for some mysterious reason.
I am most disheartened by the apparent ease with which the forces of evil infiltrate our beautiful city, and the gullibility of our citizens who seem to want peace so badly they will readily accept any tale.
Evil is evil, and should be met with naked steel.
What hobbies and directives do you presently have?
Lately I have been working on body-building. (Noehy has me moving furniture constantly!)
Where do you see yourself in the future?
I see myself trying to explain to Mithaniel Marr how and why I failed him so miserably when he has blessed me with so much, and made plain what he wanted me to accomplish in this life.
I do not envision that conversation going very well...

YAY! Noehy and I were formally inducted into Saga last evening as full members in a rather informal ceremony. I was in a daze, it all happened so fast, and I vaguely remember promising not to complain to loudly about pickles, or some such...
I will keep an ear out for the next ceremony, and see if I can get a handle on exactly what I promised.
