Title: Testing
Post by: Orrernoeth on June 11, 2009, 07:11:22 AM
Just testing a link to a slide show I put together showing Ravenns and my home.

Pictures seem a little dark, so I need to try and fix that.

That looks great!  I just obtained a home for Konnar (though not as grand as yours).  I need to get his done.

Yours looks superb.

Hey this is super....really really cool stuff. Like the hall, another testament to yor flair for decorating, bravo!

My favorite I think is actually a pretty small bit...the wine rack on the wall in the kitchen...has some "smaller than weapon", size kitchen blades hanging from it. I thought that little touch was just perfect.

While I too am in awe of Noehy's flair with decorating, particularly her knack for using things to create something totally different, let us not forget that our little emporer also had a hand in decorating our guild hall!

Aye, I look forward to him coming back.

One day we will move into a bigger guild and he must direct us on what must be done!

Um Yah. What she said.

I started this thread from Noehy's comment and had my heart start pounding.  Decided to read from the top down...and discovered it MUST be a typo :)

And I looove our guild hall. I don't WANT to move!  I adore going there and seeing everything.

Your home is lovely, it really is, but our guildhall is magnificent.

I missed the wine/knife rack (although I thought I saw knives against the wall in the kitchen) so I'll go back and check it out.

In about a week or so when LU#52 is upon us, they'll remove the cap on amenities and kinda make the incentive for moving to a bigger hall pretty much go away. A bigger hall means it will cost more money and status to maintain, but we'll still have the same number of amenities. It will be fun to decorate and we would have more room and , though!

Also, Ravenns house is the envy of Qeynos. Nice work Noehy!  O0

Also, I wanted it added to the rules that Noehy is not allowed to move to a bigger (or smaller) guild. She's gotta stay here forever and ever.  :P

LOL, yes I meant a bigger guild hall.  I love Saga and this wonderful family, I dont' plan on leaving it.

With the amenities cap being removed, the only reason why I'd see us getting a bigger hall is if we wanted to have more items (I don't think the item cap is being removed) and if we wanted to have small member bedrooms/studios/studies.

Some other ideas would be to have a training room with dummies (I can see Talemus twitching over that), a big library that could potentially include player-written books, guestrooms (imagine running our own inn! hah), management office, ballroom, trophy room, art room.....ok I'm totally picturing Konopiste in my head...heh...

I've seen the hall in South Qeynos.  It is -HUGE- and that's not even the biggest one...

Wait, so we only have the Tier 1 guildhall? For some reason, I thought it was too big to just be the tier 1.

Seems big enough if you ask me.

I personally think that the T3 would be WAY to big for us.

I wouldn't mind moving up to the T2 guild hall. We are starting to get a little cramped (in my opinion) and with more people joining our family, and possible more amenities, the thought of where to put everything...

But we must wait on the emporer!!

Ah well... the only thing I miss about some former guild I was in, is the T3 guild hall... boy, that was mighty impressive!

<Sighs>

Not that impressive. Yeah, they're huge and all, but people tend to get too wrapped up in each room and you get rooms filled to the gills with neat stuff...

...and other rooms that stand empty. Usually because you've hit the item limit or ran out of ideas.

I'm happy where we are, but if everyone decides to upgrade, then so be it.

I am happy where we are and have zero interest in the tier 3 hall, which I am afraid I would feel lost in.  I do like the tier 2 hall, though, although I admit the main reason I do is the garden on the roof!

All I know is that whatever we do, Anaris needs to be able to smother Wayena in a mountain of Anaris-love (and hairspray).  So if a big hall will allow Wayena to get lost, then heck no!  I vote niet!  Anaris can't track.  But Waneya can now, unfortunately...

I was afraid of that too... but it turned out to be very easy. There are some inner hall teleporters you can easily place. They make it virtually impossible to get lost!

Hah! The garden of the T3 is way more impressive! :) ;)
