Anyone have any idea where I might be able to buy this toy?
Looks sooo cool. The first clown leaps up and hooks on to the bar on the yellow 'trapeze' thus sending the yellow trapeze flying around and round, the clowns spinning away with it.
Anyone? I've an 8 year old boy who has written a letter to Santa asking for it :)
Wish I could help. Maybe a vintage store? Or you might luck out at a Salvation Army or the like.
Well, the item you're talking about happens to be the only post-WWI patent (Patent no. 1,523,989 (http://www.freepatentsonline.com/1523989.html)) Orville Wright made any money on. It was manufactured by the Miami Wood Specialty Co. of Dayton, Ohio. They went out of business in 1947.
I'm still looking, but based on what I'm seeing, this is something you'd only see at antique stores, if you're lucky. No one is selling them that I can see and they haven't been manufactured in more than 6 decades, but I haven't given up yet. Hope this is helpful information! :)
Namae, if YOU can't find it, no one can.
OMG look at that amazing info you have found already!
Someone SHOULD manufacture this toy. It looks so awesome :kia
But where do you put the batteries?
