Just wanted to drop a note to say we aren't dead (yet) and not to worry, or think we've lost interest in you.
Saerys/Thandruin will be MIA effective May 15-July 15 while he is in England. After that, he will probably still be pretty scarce as he will be traveling around with
Laurelin/Alistere/Eledain, who will be MIA effective May 15 and very likely all the way until September or possibly October, as I travel for a living and will be in various cities all over the US and also in London for two weeks and Japan for three weeks.
If you live in or around Los Angeles, New York, Baltimore, Sandusky, Chicago, Atlanta, or San Jose and feel like going to an anime convention, I'll be there. I sell wigs. ;) I'm usually super busy, but you can always email me at orders@kingdom-arts.org if you want to try and meet up and hang out. I love food. I've also got a livejournal (harl) and AIM (rogueymu) and a Facebook (rogueymu@hotmail.com) if anyone misses me that bad.

Ahh when will you be in San Jose? That's a stone's throw from me... But...really? They have anime conventions in SJ? San Jose makes me cry... It kind of sucks...big time. BUT I'd go there if you're there! Then probably kidnap you back to SF, 'cause SF is for lovers. *nod*
I'll be in San Jose the last weekend of May. http://www.fanime.com/ Fanime is that weekend, and is actually pretty goodly sized. I could probably come up through San Fran, because I have to drive back to Chicago and get into Ohio by the next weekend, but I wouldn't be able to stay for long. Might be able to leave a bit early and come through San Fran, but I'm not sure. Driving kind of sucks that way because everything is subject to change.
Where, exactly, in San Fransisco are you?
I'm right in the middle of SF, on one of the Peaks. The city's relatively small anyway so I'm never more than 15 minutes away from anywhere in the city. You should come through SF! We'll have fun and stuff!

Last weekend of July/first of August. :) Before or after is always better than during the con, because it's almost impossible to get away unless someone comes to us and goes to eat in the general area.
Oh wow. Not only are we in town but Blaek will be here too! Thing is we were going to go to DC that day (we're spending the bulk of the visit on the beach in Cape May and that's the only day we can dedicate to DC for his kids) That said, we can meet for dinner on the 30 OR you can skip him and I can take you out either the 31st or the 1st.
Well, we'll be getting there on the 29th. But if you have room to put the two of us up, we could come on, say, the 28th and crash at your house. ;)

Guess I'm confused. When you say 'before or after' I thought you meant not during the day..? Or do you mean not during the conference itself?

Yeah, I mean during the con weekend it's really hard to get away. Mainly because the dealer's floor closes at 7-8ish and I'm usually in a crazy outfit and really tired. Which is why we don't go much of anywhere other than stuff that's nearby.
Let me see how it goes and I'll touch base with you closer to the time. Might could stay after, we just gotta be back to Chicago in time to fly out to Japan on the 7th.
