Two new progression servers open on Wednesday, 6/28. They'll start with only the original release, and players will "unlock" the expansions by defeating certain raid content in each one.
"The Combine" and "The Sleeper" will be the two new servers. I'll be on "The Sleeper" with a human bard named Antimony.
Anyone w/ all access pass or whatever who wants to give it a try look me up. Bunch of oldtime FV'ers will be there too.

I'll be there, I'm going to play a rogue I think, dunno the name.

i might try it out and shockingly play something that can solo half decently instead of my usual glutton for punishment that tries to see how far i can solo classes that aren't meant to.
I reinstalled and patched on my laptop, so will be trying it out. Probably playing a bard this time around, but not sure what name as the servers are locked now (can't reserve a name anymore). Not that anyone will really see me as I play odd hours :P
Edit:
Cantoris - Male Half Elven Bard of Kelethin
Sanei - Female Human Monk of Freeport
Hey Guys!
A number of old Luxans are on Sleeper also. If you see an Ogre named Oozag...well...y'know who it is now. :)
I broke my record for time to establish an alt, and have two characters there now.
Antimony (Human Bard)
Arsenic (Human Magician of Bertoxxulous)
Antimony's the one I'm on most with though. I mostly made the mage just to see how ridiculously easy magicians have it on this server (ridiculously easy indeed).

IS there interest in making an official Saga branch in EQ on hte progressive server?
MAybe combine those of Lux and Saga?
Speaking for myself, no interest at the moment.
I'm not RP'ing much, and am just enjoying running around being a dork and fighting giant snakes n such :p Not sure if I'd be sticking around in the long long term, will have to see how it goes.

made a troll shammy named Bralk on the Sleeper server if anyone pops in. if there is a guild would we have to call it Prequel? 8)
I attempted to play there, but it was a madhouse, and I couldn't stand the graphics. After all of the eye candy in EQ2, it's really hard for me to go back. I would desperately need to get past all of that!
/giggle
Heh, likewise!
I got Neeta the halfling druid to level two and simply couldn't stand it any more. Remembered all the things that were awful about EQ1 mechanics and said forget it!
EQ2 just feels much nicer....some friends of mine are playing on the Combine and I've hit level 2 (yippee !) now, but I doubt I'll play except once ina while.
There is a gang of Luxans on Sleeper, if you are around /join Lux channel. We would welcome any and all!
As for EQ-2, it's funny how mechanics are looked on differently. As a guild we struggled mightily with the swift pace. On the whole we finished all but the most difficult fights nearly unscathed and nearly fully rested. (I can live with it, but some found the pace and drive to quest all the time felt pretty similar to EQ-1 grinding...just with a different skin.) Apparently we need a design that has a pace between EQ-1 and EQ-2 roughly. It's possible we're a little bit :uglystupid2:
I still try to drop into EQ-2 now and then, but have apparently gotten the timing for an invite all wrong. I will try again soon!
Happy 4th and :smitten: SAGA!
Lotsa folks can tag now. Anyone who is a recruiter or orfficer. MOsta the time, that's 3/4th of the people on at any one time. Standin order to tag you goin out to the masses.

oooo. What's an orfficer? Sounds dangerous!

When you're online, use the Guild Search tool (hit U to bring up the window) and find Saga. You can request to speak to a recruiter, and any of us who are online at the time will get the message. That saves you having to find someone whose name you know.
