All past accounts have been activated by SOE for the next 11 days.
I went and took a look last night, since there is no RIFT yet.
Coolest thing for us, is that you now have 8 slots on FV, so need need to muck up your original character if you don't want to.

If yours isn't activated, here's a thread to get you going.

I just want to point out the differences between EQ now and way back when.
Comparing Project 99: Where just this week, I had to find my own way out of Kaladim, then I had to go kill a bunch of bats and skeletons to make Level 2.
Everquest 11 years later: Meet a guy standing in front of me that says go find the Jailor and kill it. Turn left, and see a large Kobold that says Jailor. Kill it. Ding to level 2.
Kids have it easy these days.
Ahhh, yes, those would be the 'Mines of Gloomingdeep'. Every rave can level in there to about ten or so before 'going home'. My original FV toon was slurped into oblivion for...some reason, so I started fresh. If anyone plans to be on to invite to guild, I would appreciate it, if you'd let me know when.
And no worries, exXO - human magician. ;)
Hrm. To peek or not to peek? I should probably just leave it in the dusty, cobweb-covered corner where the rest of my happy memories are kept.
*sleeps contentedly nestled in Jasyn's corner.*
ELLOISAMUTHETTE! Welcome home!
:tan:
he. remembered. my name.
*faints*
:smitten:
Hey Noa, how have you been...welcome back...play something willya?
:tan:
All I've had time for lately is Farmville. :cow
But apparently, I'll be dropping out of college to play Rift. ;D

If you don't play Rift, the terrorists win. It's good to know you have your priorities right. :viking2:

Then I guess I now support terrorists. I should add that to my forum profile.
Yay me...
That logic is awesome . :D
It's like; Hitler was a vegetarian. Therefore if you are a vegetarian, you are Hitler. That includes the moustache. :P
Or better, Bill Gates is a billionaire who dropped out of college. Therefore if you dropped out of college, you are a billionaire! O0
If, however, you don't play RIFT, are a vegetarian, and didn't graduate, you are not a terrorist, Hitler, nor Bill Gates, you're just a damn dirty hippie.

If anyone still plays EQ on the Firiona Vie server, I would be happy to give you everything I still have there. I don't intend to ever play that version of EQ ever again, so would be nice to unload that stuff onto someone that might actually use it. Or sell it in the bazaar. Or give it away.
I really don't care what you do with the stuff, honestly.
I still putter with Beren or Murga there sometimes...if no one else wants to hop in and you are just gonna delete the stuff, I'll make use or find a home with someone who will.
Not going to delete, but it's been sitting on the character for roughly 5 years untouched. With the free time, I figured it would be a good time to get rid of it, rather than let the stuff continue to collect dust.
I will wake Murga in case you want to pop in. Who do I look for?
Do pixels collect dust?
Wouldn't they be just as good as the day they were forged?
Or do they degrade, like from HD pixels to Standard Def, to Black and White pixels, and finally to snow?
Is snow dust? Do pixels melt?
Am I posting for no reason?
Your just padding your post count. :coolsmiley:
HAHAHAHA Wayena's sig! :2funny:

Suvari. Just give me a general idea of when to look for you. I would give you an idea of when to look for me, but I'd have better luck giving out winning lottery numbers. A lot going on this week. I'll pop in best I can.
If we don't work out, no big worries one way or the other.

*snort* I totally missed that. Had to scroll back when I saw Ana's reaction. ;D
Hahahahahaha!!
I generally don't like terrorists, but your okay. ;)
I can pop in somewhere between 8-11:00 PM Pacific coast time if that might work.

Let's see...
That would be 11pm to 2 am eastern. Bit late on a weeknight with work always looming the next day.
If you can make that around 8pm your time (11 my time), should be doable. I'll log in around then and look for you.
Hey Wayena!
Missed it tonight, but I will shoot for 8:00, or even a bit earlier as able tomorrow.
Okie dokie.
I looked for you yesterday, but just couldn't wait you out. I'll look for you tonight.
awake...I recall the name Suvari, but not for sure from where!
Suvari is my monk here in EQ2 and a name I used in EQ at some point.
It's also the last name of Mena Suvari, the actress from American Beauty and where I got it from.
