For those who remember, many moons past, I asked if it would be permissible to make a Saga chapter for Lord of the Rings Online. The response was generally positive, so I assembled one on the unofficial RP server, Landroval (there are no official ones, unless I have heard incorrectly).
The guild is now maxed out at level 10. Is it just me, or is LotRO's guild system...weird?
It's you?
I dunno. I don't know anything about their guild system.
Who're you on LotRO? I should join Saga over there!
Oops. I guess we didn't realize we had a guild on Landroval. Because... as of two months ago, we also have one on Firefoot. ;D
That's alright - the posts DID sort of get buried, and I know there's a resistance against thread necromancy here.
I can zap the :exXO: Landroval guild and move over to Firefoot , but if anyone is interested, Loremaster Delaunay is there on the former (with a bunch of alts used for maintaining the guild). Guilds are built on how long it sits there, and that's sort of what it did - it sat there and got to ten by itself. So it isn't like I'd actually be losing anything along the lines of EQ2 guild effort.
If we called it divine & holy thread resurrection instead, do you think anyone would notice? ;)
Yes, LotRO's guild system is kinda weird if that's all there is to reaching kinship level 10. I don't know why; seeking out an unofficial RP server certainly didn't occur to me at the time of the initial rush, or were we just stalking Lyri and Blaek? I forget exactly. :D
