Hey everyone, I figured I'd chuck this thread up here for everyone who is a P&P Roleplayer at heart. If you haven't yet seen, The Gamers: Dorkness Rising from Dead Gentlemen Productions, you really need to. These guys are top notch and are hilarious in a perfectly nerdy way. You can find it on Netflix if you want the easy way, if not, Google it ;)
Any other nerd flick ideas?
Fan boys, Space balls, lotr, Bladerunner, Logan's run, The black hole, Ice pirates, and any thing Star wars. This is just a few, dork movies. O0
Fanboys was a absolute classic as soon as it was released, Id definitely recommend that to any Star Wars fan.
While not super nerdy, Idiocracy has a special place in my collection ;D
I'm kinda taking this to mean movies nerds and geeks would like.
Let's see..
Role Models- Two guys doing community service with kids involved in LARPing. Funny and touching.

Chocolate- (foreign/subtitled) on Netflix streaming. An 12 year old autistic ninja straight out of Tekken. Has the best beatdowns I've ever seen on film. With no stunt doubles.

Secret of Kells- gorgeous 2D animation, really magical. On Netflix I think.

Troll Hunter- (Norweigan, subtitled) Netflix streaming. Fake documentary done in the style of Cloverfield. Kinda cool and compelling. We watched it a week ago and I'm still thinking about it.

I always have to bring up "The Specials" on these types of threads. One of my all-time favorite movies "for the oddball, the rebel, the outcast, the geek!"

I think true nerds will always shun the movie in favor of the comic. O0

Grave of Fireflies
This one made me :'( :'( :'( , and I've never been able to muster up the courage for a repeat viewing, but it's a fine piece of art.
I know XD constantine the movie doesnt compare to the comics at all! And grave of fireflies is very :'(
"Tank Girl". It's a very silly movie, but Lori Petty is so brilliantly zany that she brings the comic book character to life perfectly.
