For our family, the day after Thanksgiving is the day we cut down and trim our Christmas tree. Our first Star Wars tree decoration (27 years ago) was Jabba, strangely enough (specifically, this button: http://theswca.com/index.php?action=disp_item&item_id=20937 (http://theswca.com/index.php?action=disp_item&item_id=20937) Nothing says Christmas like a drooling Hutt, I always say. He's still on the tree every year, much to our Muggle friends' confusion.
We've since added several more official Star Wars and Star Trek ornaments in addition to the more usual sparklies. We've gone to LED lights, so--sadly--Darth Vader and Spock no longer can plug into the light string and speak.
We haven't added to our collection for a few years. Anyone have any suggestions for new acquisitions?
