OK. I realize that sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. But the floor of the Senate rotunda really strikes me as rather blatant in its male/female symbolism. I'm actually not being snarky with this (*gasp*). Am I the only one that sees this? I mean, male, female, and then the happy force sperm on the threshold? Oh well. Maybe it's the effect of hanging out with the life-sciences teacher at school lately. She does have a plushie sperm/egg mobile in her class.

Good gravy , now its burned into my mind.
very nice.
What is wrong with you, woman?
I took a lot of classes involving semiotics and symbols, remember. I actually think this is pretty fascinating. Government buildings and monuments are full of masculine/feminine symbols. I think it's pretty cool.
Edited to add:
"The Jedi is a conspicuous symbol of psychological androgyny: he is agentive in his mission, personally responsible, a leader (masculine), while using the methods of feeling, intuition, and caring (feminine)."
(Heroes, Antiheroes, and Dolts: Portrayals of Masculinity in American Popular Films, 1921-1999, Ashton D. Trice, Samuel A. Holland, p. 173.)
So there you go. The presence of both the masculine and the feminine is a coded sign of the extent of Jedi influence in the Senate!
Well when my shadow is wailing away at random mobs with his double bladed lightsaber, I know what you will be thinking.
My goodness magenta is an awesome colour.
Yea. Does look like balls and a penis pointing toward a vagina in the crease between a woman's legs ... Good eye. I now need a funny emote to do while standing there next time I am in game.
Well, there's always this option, Gith:

I started to object before I looked again and completely saw what you were talking about. I am almost certain this is intentional and maybe on more than one level. Mixxi is right though that government / political architecture is known for its male / female symbolism. Very interesting and philosophical find. I wonder what another gander at Kaas City would draw up. Interested in seeing the Imperial contrast.
In the end, everything is... Well. That.
Yeah, seems pretty symbolic for sure eh? And not necessarily in that, "animators always try to sneak a phallic symbol or two into Disney movies", kind of way.
It is interesting, given the potential purposeful act of that in connection to the nature of the Jedi order. Still interesting if it is just a designer doing their own thing on a lark, or even subconsciously, (though that seems unlikely).
The funny part is that I bet a woman artist done that.
