Down time in Hoth. So exciting. Not many people come through Aurek Base and those that do have to be some of the least attractive people in the galaxy.

I haven't heard anything regarding the incident on Nar Shaddaa recently. Could just be that I'm stuck her at the ass-end of the galaxy, and I'm lacking information. Lt. Chayce seemed to be going nowhere fast.  The Republic doesn't really care - Nar Shaddaa isn't even under their jurisdiction.

These logs I found on Hoth are interesting. That craft was likely Sith. And from what I can tell, the dates on these logs appear to be in excess of 10,000 years old. As for everything else - I have no idea.

Sent some information on to mother about it. I also had my R7 unit make composite overlays of all known ancient Sith glyphs to see if he could decipher the text. I think some of these are star charts - they could be invaluable.

My poor R7 unit overheated trying to decipher these ancient Sith inscriptions. Turns out Hoth makes a great cooling unit though, so he was chugging away outside. Still couldn't make heads nor tails of this.

The wonderful, perfect, sophisticated, acclaimed, arrogant Dorset Mar Sunfell H.G.L.C. (mom) was able to depart from her busy schedule of academic studies and cocktail lunches to write me back. She claims that there are traces of both High Ancient Sith and Rakatan glyphs in the text, which potentially dates this back to as early as 25,000 years ago - not 10,000 years ago.

So there you have it. My burgeoning archaeological career snatched away by mom.

I ran into Catri earlier in the week on Coruscant. She mentioned some odd job she was considering, along with some acquaintences, Lux and Pierre. Same thing as that guy who plastered the net with some release party for toys.

Catri said the guy wants to haul little dolls to both Imperial and Republic space. It's nonsensical. Shipments of necessary items - food, equipment, weapons - that's what's valuable in wartime. Toys? Less expendable income, less money for toys. I remember my economics lessons (surprisingly).

Either this guy is a fool or there's some other motive. I heard he may be passing through Coruscant tonight.
