Ah, the enthusiasm of a child. We just got lots of my old Legos (and my brothers) from my parents.
Actual quotes:
My daughter: YAY! WE GET TO PLAY WITH LEGOS!
Me: YAY! WE GET TO PLAY WITH LEGOS!
My daugher: *hands me a guy (now officially called "minifigs")* "Can you help me take off the head?
Me: Yes. Yes I can.
For those of you not getting the full visual, this is the part of the movie/episode/Thriller video where just the viewer gets to see my eyes glow an unearthly color.
Look out, everyone. The next generation of Sagaites are already in training to become Junior Beheaders. No one is safe.
Lego is awesome. It's a complex way of raiding the entire world from Billund in Denmark. :viking2:
So cute!
Eeeeeeeeexxcellent.
My minion has a minion!
The plan is almost in place.
MWWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Legos rule!
I recently broke out my Mindstorms kit and built a functional (but wobbly) AT-AT walker.
Nicely done Vifi! It is important to mold their little minds, so when they grow up, they will have proper moldy little minds!
:)
Lego...and by that I mean less the "Bionicle" and action figure/movie license type stuff they focus on more recently...but real lego you make random stuff with, is about the best toy ever invented.
Using said legos to impart the foundation for proper beheading techniques? Priceless.
Side note, I was like 10 when Star Wars came out. I had a few of the original figs they made. (The ones you can pay for a kids college with now, but which I gave to a nephew 20 years ago sadly.) But they were not my favorite toy. Lego was way better. I typically had more fun building fleets of Imperial and Rebel ships, and then had battles with them! I liked something called Micronauts though!

I had the full set of Micronauts. Even collected the (rather bad) comic book, too.

Post a picture, and I'll show my classes. Of course, they will doubtless take this as a challenge. :exXO:
I've been pulling apart sets for a while now, breaking them down into constituent Lego parts. A few Harry Potter sets from my younger brother.
I can't find a lot of my old generic space set Legos. I need wings to make cool spaceships!
In case you've never visited:

Thank heavens you are giving LEGO to your daughter. My parents had no idea what they were creating when they wouldn't buy me LEGO because I was a girl. *cackles gleefully and surveys her LEGO bins*
lol I love my legos, I kept them all. Good thing because my niece & nephew love them when they visit for the weekend
