is that roleplaying site experiencing a virus or something? I hardly go there but my web-based email filled up with about 100 notifications of new private messages from random names. I'm afraid to go there in case it's diseased.
Anyone else get a ton of "enjin@enjin.com" notifications flooding them?
There was a thread that someone accidentally posted that when anyone replied to it, everybody (i.e. pretty much the whole user base) got a mail. You can use the mail to go to the thread to hit Unsubscribe at the top.
I'm betting most of the spam is being generated from people posting "STOP SPAMMING ME!"

And, I am not in evidence but I am still around and interested, first I was breaking to do other things, and then in the last couple weeks my computer is barely able to creep onto the web (posting this from work before going home.) I am still tracking down my pc issue, I think it may be the hard drive. I had left it downloading something enormous and went to bed and woke up to hear it going KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK and I don't think it's supposed to sound like that. Still runs, but anything involving data from or to the hard drive takes forevvvvvver.
which means, basically anything done on a pc.
Ya I was one of those reporting the issue, which the site started by saying "turn off email notifications" because that's the 'go to' answer at first. Like Vifi stated, looks like they fixed things up because even after I turned off all email notifications I was still getting spammed to my email. Glad they have it figured out though and hopefully fixed. I haven't been back to the site lately, I should go more often lol.
