well ok it wasn;t sent to me but i saw it posted at work and thought i'd share to the best of my memory.
Lynn (forgot the last name) from San Deigo,CA age 23 was visting relaitves and went grocery shopping. A man walked by her car and saw her sitting in the front seat with her eyes closed and her hands at the back of her head. Walking by again later the man saw that now Lynn's eyes were wide open and her hands were still clutching the back of her head. Going over to the car the man asked if she was ok. She told him that she had been shot in the back of her head and was trying to hold her brains in for almost an hour. The man quickly called for help and police and paramedics quickly arrived on the scene. They weree forced to break the car window open as Lynn refused to remove her hands from the back of her head to unlock the door. Once inside the paramedics cautiously removed her hands from her head ready to bandage the wound only to find a wad of dough stuck to the back of her head.
Upon further examination it seems the woman had a container of pillsbury muffins in the back seat. Because of the extreme heat the container exploded which sounded like a gunshot and a wad of dough was fired out at the back of Lynn's head striking her in the back of the head with enough force to stun her briefly. Gathering her wits, Lynn cautiously went to feel the back of her head and felt the dough which because of its softness, Lynn took to be her brains and so she desperately reached back to keep her 'brains' from falling out of her skull until someone finally came by to help.
The official AP article of the story? "Killer Muffins Sought For Attempted Murder"
The final line of the article itself which was the perfect punchline if you find such things amusing?
"Lynn is blond."
jamie and adam proved this on mythbusters. that they DO explode when sufficiently hot.
