....my likely GW2 character.
Possibly.

Fantastic!
I love the pose! Very martial. Is that a cast or a dance?
Going by the skull motif of the effect, I'm guessing necromancer?
Yup, a dancing Sylvari necromancer.
Until I change my mind that is.
Yay! Sylvari!

Yay! Sylvari!
Yes, another one of us awakens. I am quite eager to start playing with mine, not least because I can FINALLY see the Sylvari areas. Going by that picture it is a pretty area.
Three days. Three days. Just three days. *rocks*
A necro? Really?
:(

I propose we have a guild banquet and ALL play necros, just for Pinkie.
By the way, PinkRose. I thought of you when I read this in "Ghosts of Ascalon":
QuoteNecromancers among the humans have been considered rather unsettling for centuries, even though they work in magic like elementalists, mesmers, and other practitioners."
"Yet, among my people it is just a type of magic," said Killeen, "no different than divination or golemancy or any of the strange mathematical offshoots that the asura practice."

A necro? Really?
Yep, I'll have a necro too!
I had very little qualms about necros after reading the GW2 books. Now, after playing GW1... I have zero qualms about them.
Livia was a hero in GW1 and a necromancer. She was a member of the rebel Shining Blade against the evil White Mantle that ruled Kryta. When the players and Shining Blade overthrew the White Mantle and placed Queen Salma (from whom the current Queen Jennah is descended) on the throne, Livia was named the first Captain of the new Shining Blade in their role as the Queen's own guard.
By her own admission, Livia wasn't so much shining... as she was a bit tarnished. But she was a hero nonetheless, and loyal to Kryta.
"Why do I fight so hard for Kryta? You might as well question why I breathe. If I stop breathing, I'll die. If I stop fighting my enemies, my world will die." ~ Livia
Don't forget that Kormir used necros as well. A tool to battle evil as such.
As a Norn, I have to accept Necromancers.
But I don't have to like them.
Those skulls look so happy and pinky-purple! That's the most non-mouldering, non-angsty-deathy necro I've ever seen. She looks fun to be around.
I like to think I can be fun to be around :)
<unknown> (that's not really her name - I have a few in mind but will need to see if I can use any of them) is more of a curious necromancer - interested in both life and death. I think that it is natural for Sylvari to be curious about death as they are a young race and, none of them having died from natural causes, no-one knows how long they live.
/sigh
This is all so KEWL.
Ah. Next game, maybe.
So is this the character you're playing now, Oakmist? The fabulous....necro-chef?
You know, those carrots looked suspiciously like fingers...
At least if my cooking ever kills anyone then it won't be a total loss.
