Between this and Lasgalen stopping by, I'm left to wonder again if anything really will top EQ1 ever. It's something I feel like we all chase, now and again. But maybe there's just never anything like your first time ever again. =)
Just to be clear, i didn't make those. They appeared in the EQ community way back and i simply saved them on my computer. :) I never delete stuff like that from my HD, i even have the original EQ CG intro movie from the CD saved somewhere hehe.
After playing P99 i realize that for me no other mmo has come close to it in greatness :) It lost its charm when it became too easy and the old world didn't matter anymore. In p99 shiny brass shields and banded armour are useful and valuable again so it's greatness restored for me. :)
lol. I did not even play EQ and those were pretty funny. I am sure I am missing a few of the jokes though.
Well i think the whole point of Agent Sinzan is that the cleric confused 'Chain Complete Healing' with 'Chain Celestial Healing'.
The difference was that Complete healing was an instant massic heal while 'celestial' is a slow heal over time. So he multiplies himself to be able to keep the tank alive with the heal over time spell. :) The dragon is Trakanon, who was one of, if not THE toughest boss in EQ at the time.
I had all the Sinzan/Nizzmo stuff at one time. And "Has Anybody Here Seen My Corpse" and the "Ranger/Tank Simulator". Love these!!!
Does anyone still know where to find that great "Enter Sandman" video of the Talisman dragon raid wipe? The only one I can find on YouTube is several generations degraded and unwatchable. The original was clear enough to read the character names. Still gives me shivers to see all those dragons stomping up the hallway. :buck2:

Perhaps the most classic of the classic EQ stories.
What a great nostalgic laugh. I'd forgotten all about the cleric's portion of the story but started remembering parts of it as I read along--probably because after reading up to a certain point , I start to zone out a bit (of consciousness, not to Burning Woods), but it's hard to block out the image of that Dark Elf soulbinding at the gates of Felwithe.
It's been so long, though, it took me a beat to remember what some of those acronyms were. :2funny:
