Please write an introduction to your character, including name, race, gender, class, alignment, god(if any). If you tradeskill or have other talents, please include those as well.
Well, my name is Reeshaa, female wood elf monk of 12 seasons. Some would call me Loquacious Good, or Chaotic Naive. :) I heard that long ago there was a God of Tranquility, despite the ranting and ravings of my wood elf compatriots about someone named Tunare, and I've always been curious to find out more...maybe someday! Oh, and I like making wood stuff, maybe I'll be a full fledged woodworker someday, too!

Do you have alternate characters (freeport or qeynos) on the same server?
I left my pal Sochin in Queen's Colony, and I've heard of three rather dastardy characters named Muafein, Vigan and Fedayin in Freeport.

How did you hear of us?
My friend Kaikeyi pointed your guild out to me as being very interesting, and desiring to live in Qeynos, I thought I'd join her. Even when she makes jabs about my brainses! :P

Is there anyone you have gotten to know from our family, IC or OOC?
Kaikeyi and I go way back OOC; at least 4 online games.
Quote
What Roleplay games have you participated in?
Well, none really. Lots of online games, but very little roleplay immersion. I did write a story once, in my first online foray (EQ).

What are you looking for as a member of our guild?
Fun. Interesting times, new people. This is an open ended pasttime that I'm quite content to approach from any angle. I just don't wanna be part of a pseudo military regiment, or anything.
"Uber" can be satisfying, but ultimately I play to play, not play to work..and maybe I can learn to play a role, rather than just be a 'toon'.

Have you read and agree to our Guild Policies and Guidelines?
I have, and do.

Please answer the following three questions, IN CHARACTER:
Tell us of your past.
Well, I was not a refugee, but Mama and Papa were. Papa was a monk, and he disappeared when I was very young - I've heard it said it was in Stormhold, among the skeletons. I'm older, but no one who knows for sure is still around to tell me what happened, sadly. Human lifespans, you see.
Mama didn't adventure like Papa; she's a tailor, so it was with great misgivings that she let me go to the Queen's Colony to learn like Papa did, when I declared I wanted to be a monk. I remember her relief when I told her I'd be joining the Wayfarer's stockpilers when I returned. And that, is where Saga found me...or I found Saga.
Quote
What hobbies and directives do you presently have?
I do enjoy my crafting! I hope that some day I'll make great bows and staves; I enjoy working with wood - stone is so impersonal! But, tho I think Papa would be as afraid for me as Mama is sometimes, I do want to be a good monk, like him, 'cause it's a nasty world, and stuff needs to get done that doesn't involved a whittling knife and some maple.
Like, for example, wipe every last undead abomination from the face of Norrath!
And maybe I'll find out some more about the Tranquil one. Sensei Makoto has told me some things, but that's like a sip of water to a,...a real thirsty elf!! :)
Quote
Where do you see yourself in the future?
Punchin' good and choppin' wood!! ;D I'm not entirely sure, but I'm sure the journey will be as fun as the destination.
((BTW, sorry for being so late replying to this, but RL work has just picked way way up for me again...I'll probably be scarce until mid-September))

You have picked the right guild! We certainly understand the balancing act between gaming and our lives on the other side of the screen. Please feel free to join us again in the between times when you can fit it in and when your work has lessened its hold on your attention.
