That was pretty cool!

I'd been afraid that there wouldn't be enough character progression after reading some impressions on the last beta build, but I'm glad to see them add the "AMPs trees" and "Ability tiers".

I'm still quite interested in Warrior, after watching this! Most MMOs I've played lately with tab-targeting and targeted abilities, I've played ranged classes. However, I actually enjoy durable melee characters in games with this type of template/telegraph targeting (like my Chaos build in Secret World or my Guardian Fighter in Neverwinter).

I'm looking forward to seeing the Esper video on Wednesday!

The amp system and tree looks really promising. I remember hearing the complaints that leveling up and customisation was a bit bland and hopefully this version of their talent system adds the necessary difference to classes.

I really like the telegraph system now with the solid color showing the cooldown to actual damage as well as them adding colour blind options.
Also I think I saw chat bubbles which is awesome for rp.

So you all need to come play Wildstar with me because the renown currency earned through grouping is tied into a lot of housing stuff. I WANT HOUSING STUFF :D

I am finally finishing watching this. Took me several sit downs to get through this.

It looks like the trinity is firmly in place in this game which actually makes me quite happy. They are using a Warrior in this video so it is all melee but if you watch the stuff they are fighting you could easily send in a tank or two to soak everything and me as a ranged DPS gets to sit back and happily avoid everything throwing out the deeps. I wonder what the maximum range will be on standard and special ranged attacks. Maybe they will force you to be sorta in there instead of letting you stand way back.
