EXCITED ! Love the esper theme and abilities - I will have a hard time picking a main class between esper, spell slinger and the other heavy armor class !

Esper class page is up - delicious! NOM NOM
Esper lore from page :
Espers: uber-freaks of paranormal-nature or the next stage in evolution? Civilization's mental elite or pariahs doomed to lives of desperation? Masters of mind over matter, or mindless slaves to their own madness? Never, and always, have so many moving so much using so little endured such torment.
In the early stages of galactic civilization, individuals evincing psycho-kinetic abilities were hailed as frightening abominations to be persecuted, exorcized, and burned at the stake (or, among the Chua, blown up, then beaten, and then blown up again). But as cultural and scientific knowledge advanced, along with a growing recognition of their military applications, public opinion of the Esper's abilities took a dramatic (and significantly less flammable) turn.
Now, with the demand for unconventional combat techniques at a premium, Espers are considered valuable members of the community, enjoying unprecedented levels of esteem and respect. Mostly this takes the form of slightly fewer wedgies, and only the occasional stake-burning in the less enlightened parts of the galaxy.
Tongue in cheek - love it
Really loved the class page, I'm glad you linked it or I may not have seen it.
The Esper feels like a mashup between a Mage and a Mesmer. Beautiful spell effects and I like the weapon.
I suspect though that the unnamed healing class may be for me though- I see a human, tech based healer as my main. I bet they'll make me wait a few weeks to find out. I suspect the new classes will be debuted last. :P
Did you see the description for one of the esper healing skills?
"They say time heals all wounds, but why wait? Humiliate generations of traditional physicians by restoring life and buffing armor using only the power of your mind! And if you ever dreamed of transforming into a health-restoring, rainbow-pooping spirit animal? BOOM."
A little concerned. The video revists it with turning into a _______. Just to avoid spoilers. The delivery amused me.
Without knowing the other two classes, as things stand now, I had already decided on Esper for a main. What a shock, right? This just confirms that choice. I'll still keep my options open but I'm pretty confident Aurin or Human Esper Scientist is what I'm rolling first.
Spellslinger also appeals to me so that could be an alt.
Thanks so much for posting this, Rumze. I like having a place to gush. :D

So the guy playing the Esper is pretty good and that really makes Espers interesting to me. I hope the Spellslinger video is just as awesome as to bring me back over to the spellslinger side.
Nice in-depth gameplay footage. Great show of DPS range and mid-range along with healing. And even some PvP. Very exciting.
The devs sure go off topic though. And it cut out when they were explaining the innate. I presume that's like an elite skill with a long cooldown.
Yea. Another video implied an innate would completely restore shields and some/all health and reset all your cooldowns I think.

They did revisit it slightly at the end of the part 2 video but only to mention that the esper's version made you immune to all damage. So that's what it sounds like. Some sort of one-shot super ability as a panic button. :)
