How is this up on IGN before it is up on the official Wildstar website?
Anywho, looks awesome! You can ride horses lol. I still want a hover board though.
I want to wait and see the longer live stream for the Spellslinger to see if that is the class I will be going with or if I am going Esper and nuking stuff.
Awesome vid, was interested in finding out the viability of Spellslinger heals, but I suspect it's only supplemental healing (similar to what Necros do in GW2).
Maybe there will be more information in the live stream.
They said that both of them can be main heals or some mean dps. So far though it looks like Esper is more to my play style even though I like the look of Spellslingers more. The live stream shall show if you can do some good nukes with the Spellslinger as well as the Esper. I plan on going DPS with my Esper/Spellslinger mostly so we shall see who can bring the most deeps.
I guess I just want to dress a Mordesh up like Cad Bane (http://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/8/84761/1633723-cadbane_img.jpg) and ride a horse around Nexus.
I won't be able to decide until I play all the healing classes for a couple of levels. I'm looking for a tech based healer (maybe the Medic?). RP wise I could even make the Esper work, given that Verou has access to holographic tech.
Anxious to try them all out! I hope I can at least get into the inevitable huge last beta before launch.
There is supposed to be a big beta in December. Make sure you have an application in. I applied many months ago and then they changed their websites and I had to reapply.

From what I've read/heard, all three healer roles (Esper, Spellslinger, and Medic) will be able to be main healer. For that matter, all three tanking roles (Warrior, Stalker, and Engineer) will be able to main tank. Although, certain classes will will have different strengths within those roles and may be better-suited to certain types of fights/bosses.
And of course all 6 classes will be able to spec for full-DPS, but will likely have a very wide variety of strengths (burst damage versus sustained, single-target versus AE). I also like that all classes will have Control abilities, and they can focus on those with their builds (if so inclined).
Like Askari said ,
Any class that can tank or heal can main tank and heal
Im very interested by the idea of portals !
I know, right? You can portal to a different dimension and just hang out there? That would be awesome cool if you could go to a different layer of the same area like in Soul Reaver when Raziel goes into the spirit world. I want this.
From watching the livestream of Spellslinger play today, they said the max amount of time you can hang out in the Void is 7 seconds (if you spend your talents to make that happen).
Was also interesting that if you are PvPing another Spellslinger, who goes into the Void to escape you, you can follow him in, and the battle will continue there (until your 5-7 seconds is up).
The mechanic reminds me of the GW2 Necromancer, your time in the Void (similarly) is like having an extra health bar. It's possible I might be playing a Spellslinger after watching the livestream, it has a lot of the playstyle I look for- very mobile, an 'oh-sh#% button', etc.
It will depend also, on what Ethawn picks as his Tank class- Warrior or Engineer. As a tank/healer combo, we always look for the best synergy we can get.
I wouldn't worry about class synergy when the game is released . From what I have seen from dev discussion and so on , you should be tailor any tank class and healer class to each other using complimentary action sets and amps
