Saga ~ Our Online Roleplaying Family

As the title says so that I can get an idea of current saga members interested.
Race, class, and path are optional but nice to know.

Currently thinking of exile human/aurin engineer/stalker scientist/explorer - or along those lines.

Most likely a female Aurin DPS Spellslinger Settler named Tecta. Unless we are going to be settler heavy then I will sub into a more needed path to ensure we have all the bases covered for group content.

Male human medic/explorer.

I will probably have a warrior/soldier alt as well. Perhaps an Aurin. Oh wait...they can't be warriors. Darn. I am very leery of the ears and tail and hate the whole sex-bunny vibe from the females, but I really liked Talon's Aurin male in beta. Maybe my warrior will be one of the rock guys.

I voted Medic (although Spellslinger is still an almost equal chance for main character).

But keep in mind that all 6 classes are supposedly DPS, and every class is also either a tank or healer.

Medic does not necessarily imply a person wants to be a healer and Warrior does not necessarily imply a person wants to be a tank.

Regardless of whether I play Medic or Spellslinger, I will mostly play them as DPS. For whichever of the two ends up being my main, I will assemble a backup set of healing-stat gear, make a healing build, and fill-in as healer if needed... but I'm not likely to be very experienced at being a healer.

Hmm, healer heavy actually lol. That is rare. Ethawn was talking in beta and Elly was heals. But we can all be DPS so we should be good.

I've tried a Exile Human Stalker and a Chua Engineer (not that I'm planning on rolling Dominion, just...Chua. So cuuuuuute) and I'm really liking Engineer. Most likely rolling a female Human or Mordesh Engineer. Not decided on paths though, but probably scientist (the one that's going to be reading all the quest details and datachron messages and zone lore, hahaha)

You rolling your engineer as DPS or tank?

Probably DPS? I'm really really new to tanking and want to play around with both for a while before deciding, actually, but yeah, leaning towards DPS. Though I might change my mind in the end, I need to play a bit more to decide.

Will get around to my roster card once I'm back from work, late already eeek

Hmm. If we end up with this many medics, I may dip my toes into Warrior.

Just remember medic can be an amazing dps class ! But yeah I know the feeling mixxi - I may end up going esper scientist after all~ ( or settler argh )

I'm still keen on the esper after Rumze's pep talk. And I remember how much effort it took me to get Mesmer to a point that it was more fun in GW2 so I'm stubbornly putting down esper for Wildstar.

Spellslinger is my contingency (or alt).

Probably explorer at this point. Scientist for alt. Though I'm recalling those path abilities and I really liked how the Scientist's tied in with my character.

Happy to spec healing as primary, though dps if needed as such is a-ok.

I'll be playing all of them, in all probability, and not sure about the combinations, but a human warrior is pretty likely.

I'll have a DPS spellslinger.
I'll also have a stalker, but am undecided if I'll tank or dps on her. Knowing my gaming history, I'll likely end up as a tank.

Really though...I'm such an altoholic, there's a good chance I'll have everything. ^^;

I had plenty of fun with my DPS stalker/explorer over the weekend, so I'll stick with that for the time being.

*unless you count stalkers which you can't because you can never see them.

I decided on a  engineer scientist . Granok ladies look awesome so I'm going to try to make my character one and rp brain storm a few ideas - I'll have to play with the creator next beta weekend

Ethawn and I will be playing and are heavily leaning toward a Stalker Tank/Medic Heal combo. Very melee oriented this time around.

In beta, I also enjoyed playing Esper and Stalker. On the fence about Spellslingers, and I haven't yet tried Engineer or Warrior.

Going esper -  just love the animations and abilities .

Like Alys, I will most likely play all of them a bit. 

For now though, I am leaning primarily towards a Medic Scientist and an Engineer Settler.

I think a few days before launch we should redo the polls for class/path since people have had a chance to play stuff more now. I have switched from settler to explorer. Just so much more fun. I actually 100% areas when I am an explorer but I found myself ignoring settler quests or just not knowing what to do with some of them.

Remember you can undo your vote and select a new one.

Forsetti Has always been my main since my days in EQ and Forsetti is a Paladin (warrior here is the closest association). Unfortunately Carbine has forced me to make a difficult choice. While i will be reserving the name Forsetti & starting him as a warrior the character i will be playing most is a Medic. Warriors were the least "fun" class Ive tried in the  betas. They do not feel supple & skilled, they are clunky & difficult to play (even harder to enjoy). I have played this type of class for 15 years in every game so i am still hoping that they will turn around in the early stages of the game. I think as people realize the disparity between warriors & all the other classes we will see fewer & fewer of them meaning a shortage of tanks.

I'm pretty sure that Granok cannot be engineers (rocks for brains) lol. I have to say that I LOVE this return to logical race-class restrictions!

Can't wait till they announce the Server list. If they make the big mistake of launching more than 1 RP server, we should coordinate between us and the rest of the alliance :)

I am really looking forward to vacation time and this game at the same time. I will hit up the gym every morning before sitting down to play so I can feel good about the rest of the day lol.
