So peeps in our European time zones will not be able to play with us North Americans?
It's more likely to depend on the version you buy. I know it's pretty much locked for physical copies, and I don't have any info if both EU and NA versions will be available for online purchase from the NCSoft store come 8am PDT, but basically if EU people get the NA online version or vice versa it doesn't quite matter where you're playing from? I guess?
I'd be really bothered if this region lock thing means I can't play since I'm in Asia. :-[

Looks like as long as everyone gets the same version, we'll all be able to play together!
We will be using the North American region for play .
At least there is a way around it.
Just a heads up that there are known issues with trying to buy the NA version if you live in the EU. It seems like NCSoft locks your account to a region according to your IP code when you created it. Carbine's being nice enough to say "no problem, just buy in your region and if you want to change, let Support know"
