Hmm, now that I have a job again... I am up for deluxe versions. However, $20 for a costume I likely won't wear, a dye I likely won't use, a title I likely won't display... and a hoverboard.
In other words, $20 for a hoverboard? I may wait a little bit before pre-ordering to see if they sweeten the pot a bit on that Digital Deluxe.
I bought the regular pre-order. Any reason other than cosmetic things to get the deluxe? I didn't really see any....
While I was hoping for a collectors because of physical goodies , I got the deluxe just because I like the hoverboard, the costume and well I am a sucker for dyes which gw2 brainwashed me into quite happily enjoying.
Anyone else pre-order the digital deluxe edition and then go to their account management screen and it says "type: standard" and shows the blue picture not the orange one? I checked my pending debits on my credit card and I definitely clicked the deluxe button. Sent a ticket into customer service to see what is up.
Saw a few posts about this issue on reddit, but it seems that as long as your payment confirmation email is showing that you purchased the deluxe version, things should be ok.

Yea, customer service said all versions purchased will come across as "standard". Weird. Whatever, I am good to go.
