Credds is arguably really cheap right now at about 2ish plat. While some folks don't mind or worry about a sub, this is for those who would like to use credd instead.
Prices will rise .
A large house costs 3 platinum. So if $20 CREDD is only worth 2 platinum right now that house costs $30. No one would pay $30 for a house in the cash store. Maybe $2 or even $5. So the costs needs to increase to at least 12 platinum or more to make it make sense.
So yes, the prices shall rise.
I've been told other servers have seen CREDD go for as much as 50 plat. The servers in question are PvP servers where money seems to rain from the skies (so I'm told by PvP fanatics). The fact that we are on a PvE server with few hardcore PvPers makes me think the prices won't go as high as some might think. Since I'll be buying CREDD rather than selling it, it may be that I'm hoping I'll be able to afford it eventually (if I stop buying housing items).
Time will tell if I'm wrong or right.
Made a decision early on that I would not be touching the creed market until it's had time to shake itself out to some semblance of stability. It's only been like three weeks? Can't believe folks are buying in so early.
I was able to purchase CREDD to renew my sub for just over 2.5 plat. For me, that's a good thing. For those wanting ingame monies, it's not so good. I'll be doing my best every month to buy CREDD in game to renew my subscription. However, the price has started to rise as of late and it's over 3 plat last I saw.
I want it to go to 50 platinum like it is on the PVP servers then I am gonna sell some hopefully.
If Credd is 50 plat, that would mean the rest of the economy would adjust to that. So 50 plat on our server right now would mean something different than 50 plat on a server where credd goes for that much. Trigger fingers, for example, is what like 14plat or something on our server while our credd is 2.5? On a server with credd being 50plat, trigger fingers might be worth like 75plat at that point since so many people would have a bunch of plat and the ease now of just spending $20 and getting 50 plat. Though I admit, the idea of getting 50plat without credd, versus 2.5plat is pretty crazy.
I was more thinking of the in game stuff that will not change prices. Such as the second mount speed boost being 70 plat. That is kinda stupidly high.
Plus all the mounts and stuff I want to buy for plat that is not going to change prices.

Oh yeah true, that makes complete sense. Sorry was thinking player driven economics.
