Well I've been putting a lot of work into my housing plot and the interior of my ship. Right now the second floor is set up to be a bar/gathering place. Lore wise it's supposed to be the ship yard for the FCON unit that Shaylene is a part of ("Rundia's Rough Riders") and this is their old unit ship that Shaylene takes care of since they had it refurbished as a place to chill between missions. She is their solo unit that helps other companies (questing excuse) and she lives on the ship. I want to take this idea and maybe move it to more of a Airport/ship yard bar/hall outside of the ship on the side with more of an industrial look rather than the typical wood age look (we are in a sci fi game so why not ^^). Shaylene recently found an old Commlink from when she was on the Saga during a mission (hinted at it during my profile) and recently talked to the council there and offered up their ship (Approval from Rundia) as a meeting place for Saga folk.

I know I haven't really shut up about what I've done with the place on chat and everything, but it's mostly because.. yeah I am proud of what I did, but I get a huge kick out of doing something like this in a MMO for once and it can be something for everyone.
And last night I got some opinions and yeah, definitely gonna build a seperate exterior bar on the outside by the entrance of the lot O0. I toyed around and came up some fun ideas to do with walls (using math :knuppel2:!) to make some more unique buildings and plan to fully impliment them. Thanks to everyone last night that put up with my pestering for said opinions :P.
Saw all of this stuff last night after talking with Guts. Everything looks amazing and I can say this is and will be an awesome spot for Saga to hang out, roleplay, and meet up. Very much impressed with everything Guts is putting together.

As I said last night before passing out of exhaustion, I am really impressed with what you have done with the place and am excited to see the future additions and changes that take place. Just walking through it I felt really comfortable there and would choose to RP there over any of the alliance plots. Good stuff :)

Given that it's an FCON installation, does it have any artillery to defend it from Dominion attack? That would give Alys a professional reason to visit. I am looking forward to checking it out in any case.

Well it would be a personal building ran and funded by war chests the unit got from dealing with pirates and marauders (I figured FCON is more lax than real like armies on that sorta thing... mercenaries and all). But it will have something in place (won't be visual at first since the mounted rocket launchers are 8g each)
(IC) The ship yard is gone and with Shaylene informing Rundia of how Farside is going, Rundia has commissioned several ship grave yards to supply scrap metal to form a small space station. Right now the station consists of a Bar area and a hanger (that currently houses Shaylene's ship). Teleports were also commissioned to be made and placed in Thayd to get there (Also thought it could be a place that The Saga can docked to from the outside as an easy access place for crew to teleport to the surface of Nexus.. but that's up for approval first). It will be open to all and be available for any RP purposes.
(OOC) I went nuts and decided to make a space station :uglystupid2:.... I want this to feel like something that is not only something I personally made, but something I want the guild to feel like they helped contribute to. Now, that does not mean I'm asking for goods and decor... *Farnsworth voice* heaven's no! *end impression* (though I will gladly buy any Bluelight Drinking Tables, long as I'm not broke... since it's a drop and not a challenge reward like the lounge tables :pms... and might need some help getting Eldan Antennas, which are a possible reward from doing the Testing Lab fabkit :police:) I more mean I'm asking for opinions and suggestions. Bear in mind that, I may not go along with said suggestions if I feel it to be too much or something not with the theme, but I have an artist background so can handle criticism and suggestions very well. So far I have been getting opinions from outside sources from Zone chat and BACON (so far all positive and a few jaw drops) as well as some guildies already, but the guild opinions takes priority over anyone elses.
Why did I do a completely enclosed space station? To embrace the Sci-fi! Screw the wood age, we are going orbital up in here O0! So far the most basic lay out is done with some changes to the lay out being the addition of a more "open" looking hall way and more fun to the hanger. I'm farming the hell out of the glowing blue tables to add in actual tables along the tavern floor as well as more decor to just liven up the place. If I finish all of that and find I have more decor slots open, I'll expand it out more past the hanger and include more rooms.

I'm just about to get in game to have a look at the changes. If I come across any of those items I will ship (hur hur) them your way. I certainly love the concept and would love the opportunity for my alt to perhaps use it to sometimes dock her ship. You've done some splendid work already, can't wait to see it.
Well it's technically done now and free to use. I had some people from Quantum radio look at it (and they mentioned it on air and suddenly I got the "Be my guest" achievement for having 25 people in the lot at once :o) and they loved it so they might host an event in the next week or two to kinda be an opening event. I'll be posting something on the RP forums for it to be used as an open RP spot. I admit that I suck at hosting RP events and made it for other people to use more than anything.
