Hahahaha. I hear those stupid things pull everything within a 2000m distance of you.
Those damn bots.... NEVER have I had a biggest conflict of interest between gameplay and RP before with Milner and his bots. He's supposed to be a dude who is obsessed with bots... but NNOOOOOO they had to have the worst pet AI I've ever seen and I refuse to bring them out :pms.
I still need to figure out where Alys gets her bots from. The initial plan was from Milner, but, then they would likely be stable and professional and where's the fun in that? I want them to be causing trouble and perpetually on the verge of being compacted into worksop furniture.

Pfft, are you kidding? All of Milner's bots are stable sure, but professional... :2funny:. The quality of their exteriors are top quality for what he can muster given his lack of resources, but the AI in them are supposed to be flawed. Milner wants bots to be treated and have the same rights as people, he knows people have flaws, so he gave his bots flaws. Topper, for example, is the bot that tried to hook him up on a dating service because Topper's primary design is to protect him... but the flaw is the level to which Topper protects and HOW he protects... which in this case he saw people together, saw Milner always alone, and his programming figured that to protect Milner, Milner needed to date. Of course Topper would also not let any date touch Milner what so ever though... thus it being a bit hypocritcal.
So if Milner designed the bots, they would have actual personalities and usually odd flaws on top of their primary function that won't stop them from doing the function, but would make it so the function wouldn't be done in the most optimal way someone would expect from a robot. Another example is that if he was told to make a bot to distribute messages back and forth between FCON units, he might try to make it sing the messages to give it more personality and it would have the capability of getting lost probably due to purposely made brown spots in it's communication with guidence systems and probably have a function where it might have to ask for directions if it's never been somewhere.. The damn thing would probably be able to survive a massive blast, but it would be abit derpy.
