Wondered how everyone was doing. Ethawn and I are still somewhat wandering in the desert of the Great Game Drought. Reinstalled GW2 and might poke about there a bit (Ethawn forgot his password so will have to wait for customer service to help hook him up).
Also still having semi-frequent Minecraft binges. We've definitely become more sandbox-y over the last few years. Been trying out the Alpha of T.U.G. as well, another sandbox.
Anyone else have any good recommendations? Also curious if anyone still has interest in Minecraft or if that's all transferred over to Landmark. I may yet give Landmark another chance, but after I discovered the world of Minecraft mods, I was hooked- some of the better ones include: Lord of the Rings Minecraft- complete map of Middle Earth complete with rep quests from factions and raiding bands of very powerful orcs (would be awesome to build out the cities properly with a big group); and Dungeons! I can never play Minecraft without dungeons again- great loot with a chance at epic enchanted armors, traps, tough adversaries. I might make a YouTube video sometime showcasing some different mods, I've become quite the connioseur.
Anywho, hope everyone is having fun out there. :)
Hey elly!
Doing good - putter around on and off in gw 2 . Tug is awesome - I kickstarted it and have been following it .
I definitely am enjoying more open world sand boxy games as well but more in the open world part right now - playing a lot of dragon age inquisition !
Looking for ward to gw 2 expansion and eqn - was pondering getting evolve but will most likely hold off. Other than that -
Semi looking forward to ESO going btp as well!
Several of us are in GW2 pretty often now in anticipation of the expansion. And Chapter 2 of the living story has some amazing lore tie-ins. My husband has finally become a gamer -- Minecraft! We have a survival server that started as a family Christmas project, but could be opened to others if there's interest (although Ender Dragon will be a long-term goal, not something speedy). We are taking it slow and enjoying the ride.
Miss you and Ethawn a ton. *Hugs* to you both with love and hope that life is treating you gently and kindly.
As one of the few Landmarkers still around I must say it's got me completely hooked in building. I even suggested us doing a guild build but I haven't gotten many responses. Currently I'm preparing for the Qeynos build competition
I recently went through a mini-Minecraft binge when I found out about ocean monuments and some other new stuff. I found a deserted island seed with a monument offshore and ended up having to explore the world to find enough gear/potions/materials to take the monument over and make it into a base.
I've been poking into SWTOR a little here and there, but am having a hard time getting into it.
My gaming rig is getting a bit old, so I pulled the trigger today on ordering a bunch of components to build a new rig. I'll be looking for some gaming trouble to get into, once my new computer is running.
My gaming time is mostly LEGO games. Finishing up LEGO Marvel with my youngest and progressing through LEGO Batman with my oldest. I don't have much more time for anything else.
Hello again! I've been running a wide variety of games, trying to do this whole variety gamer thing. Lately into ArmA 3 Life for my Roleplaying. Just got white listed onto a DayZ RP server as well. I'm up for anything with you fine folks, as always, but unfortunately time is hard right now. :brfm
So great to hear from you all again :)
DayZ RP. I think Nick and Alex have PTSD from their days in a DayZ RP server. I can vividly remember them being really shaken after a kid -- a young player -- who had been with them for a couple of days got killed.
Hello Elly! Good to hear from you and Ethawn. :D Auren and I are pretty active in SWTOR at the moment, with Gith and Tuppen. We've got an Empire-side stronghold fully decorated and just started a Republic-side one; running lots of flashpoints and dailies and working towards maxed out crew skills to help in the never-ending gear grind. They've announced plans for two more expansions soon, plus the Togruta species should be coming available sometime this year! I'm pretty excited. New content on Ziost coming this spring. The Shadow of Revan expansion opened up some very exciting lore possibilities, so I'm guessing they're planning to explore that - should be pretty cool. ^_^
I've been playing a single-player game (GASP) called Darklands. Old old game that was put on Steam back in November(?), open world, sandbox RPG. But it's very old (1992), for better or worse. Great character customization (not visually) and lots of role-playing goodness. Also, it's REALLY REALLY HARD... :o
Hi! I've mostly been playing Darkest Dungeon, Endless Sea and Divinity: Original Sin lately. All of them are SP games though. I'm just waiting for that next MMO to come by really.

You know, it actually looks really interesting to me, but on the other hand what saddens me about older games and ultimately what keeps me away is that I can barely see what is going on and the text is difficult to read.
Yeah, the text in Darklands is particularly bad. Every now and then you get white text that's written over a bit white background like a window or something and you can't read it at all. Most of the time, it's just the super-pixely font that's a bit rough to read. It's still a lot of fun though, and seeing all the sorts of random adventures there is neat (even if they're hard to read).
It's a super cheap game, so entry fee for trying it out is very low.
Going to probably bounce back and forth between GW2 and SWTOR. I'm interested in seeing the bases you guys have put together. :) So you are mostly redside.. blueside? mix?
Good lord I hope I wrote down my passwords for that game. *shuffles through desk papers*
Mostly playing Empire.
I certainly preferred my Sith over my Consular. He's not evil but it feels like he has more depth than the game seems to let you have with Republic characters.

When I can manage to find the time these days, I am purple and asura! Good to see you guys again :)
I think Tuppen, Auren, and I are pretty well split between factions in SWTOR. Auren's heading up the guilds on both sides with Weski (Republic) and Vol'bazi (Empire), but since he works swing shift, he's not on much during normal prime time hours. I'm probably on most, so hit me up if you want an invite. My Empire main is Jenasha; on Republic, I split evenly between Amaiko, Idusara, and Kemil'aven, so it's a bit of a toss up there. But you can refer to http://sagafamily.org/index.php?topic=8567.0 (http://sagafamily.org/index.php?topic=8567.0) for everybody's names. ^_^ My only addendum there is I've added three new characters since I posted: Empire-side I have Ja'kemro the Inquisitor and Sem'ali'nuruodo the Agent; Republic side, I made a trooper named Kominn.
