Error Message

Hello folks!  I am hoping one of you might be able to help me.

I have started getting the following error message when I play.  It will usually boot me completely out of the game, but then I am usually able to relog back on.  Would like a suggestion to fix the problem or help figuring it out.

This is the message I get:

Run time error
Program C:\Program Files.......\Everquest2.exe
R 6025
- pure virtual function call

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have recently been getting the same error message. Likewise. A fix would be nice. It doesn't end things for me but if it gets worse it could become extremely annoying. Right now it happens once, maybe twice a day.

That's a C++ coding error. It means the programmer called a function in a context that makes the code unable to identify the function being called.. I think?

You'll want to submit a /bug report in game, but I think that's all you can do. SOE has to fix it because it's their program that's broken, not anything on your end. Hopefully they'll hotfix it away soon!
