(OOC: I wrote this a few weeks ago using an RP Char template I saw on the SWTOR RP Community forums. I also want to note that Jhared's Jedi Sage, Remann will be this char's new Master & thus my char will diverge from the primary in-game story line a bit (esp since Master Orgus never has been, & never will be this char's master). Zak will also continue to carry the Padawan title for as long as he is Remann's Padawan)

Miscellaneous Notes: Subject pendant around his neck, somewhat worn, possibly stolen, he's always had it, gives conflicting data regarding. Possibly claustrophobic.

Biography: An orphan, Zak was displaced after the sacking of Coruscant & turned to the streets, where he adapted well, taking petty jobs as a thief. Most often, he could be found working as a courier for the Black Suns, who branded him to keep competiting gang's from stealing, which was ironic since Zak was not granted room & board with the growing gang. Around the age of 12, he picked the wrong pocket & quickly found himself chased down by the Jedi he tried to rob. After a short chase, Zak had used up all of his escape routes and found himself cornered where he panicked and surprised his Jedi pursuer by knocking him off balance with a weak but simple force attack. His pursuer recovered quickly and managed to grab Zak, but when he failed to answer a few simple questions about where he lived & where his parent's where, the Jedi felt it was in Zak's best interest to be taken to Tython for training. Zak, however, protested during the entire trip by kicking, biting, & even managed to make a few escape attempts, althouth unsuccessful. Once arriving on Tython, Zak's Jedi 'kidnapper' convinced the Council of the boys worth, & was then reprimanded for his handling of the case. After a short test, a much calmer Zak was granted entrance to study at the Jedi Academy. His training began immediately under the tutelage of  Master Ijoulette Rin. Master Rin remarked several times to the Council,  that Zak excels at making life difficult for everyone around him. She also noted that he experiences difficulty getting along with others, especially those his own age. During his three years on Tython, Zak made no human friends, but several mechanical ones. When Master Rin requested that he make friends with the other boys and girl's at the academy, she was surprised to find him befriending another droid about the Academy, which after a quick reprogramming appeared to refer to itself as a fifteen year old girl.

A bit of a loose cannon, Zak found combat & piloting, common traits for any Jedi, came easily to him whereas patience did not. Zak has a knack for exploiting the world around him, as Master Rin would go on to explain, "He sees the world differently than others." However, his greatest fault results from overconfidence, and Zak often has trouble seeing fault in himself. He struggles with various emotions like anger, jealousy & frustration, but he excels in hiding this - most often with lies.

Zak has never learned to let go of his trust issues, "Trust someone and you're dead" is a motto he  survived by as a child. In Master Rin's last report, before taking a mission off world, she stated that Zak is still a child and has difficulty letting go of this so that adulthood could become him. She also remarked to the Council that Zak's ability to lie, which she felt would present trouble for him later. Zak would argue that "If you give them an answer, any answer, they'll go away, it's their fault if they accept anything as the right answer."
