The ambush at Bloodskull Valley!

Whiles Boudeccai and mees were on an expedition though tha Commonlands, we ran inta an interestin indavidual named Cannix Silverflame. He was preachin somethin about findin tha light. Finally we were able ta figure out what he be jabberin about and set off ta help the half crazy feller. Onla if we knew what he be settin us up ta do, we might of not offered ta help!

Mr Silverflame had us chasin down a rare lightbringer whisp ta get some sort of lightstone from it. We finally found it, and then he wanted us ta touch tha stone ta some mounds and then ta dip it in some famous lion's blood. If that was nae enough, he sent us off hunt down orc captains. Boo and mees were gettin pretty tired after runnin all ova tha commonlands fer this feller, but we saw this Lightstone start ta glow brighter after each time he had us do somethin. Boo and mee thought that tha crazy old man might not be so crazy so we kept goin.

Cannix Silverflame told us he needed one more final item ta make the lightstone become as powerful it could be, but this would not be no easy task. Boo and mees are always up ta somethn that be challengin so we took em up on it, and also we wanted ta see what this Lightstone could become. Cannix told us he needed a sword of General Drull and this orc could be found in Bloodskull Valley. Boo and mees headed off ta find this place.

We cautiously rode inta Bloodskull Valley very quietly ta look at the orc encampment and our jaws dropped. There were hundreds of orcs and no General Drull ta be seen. They were young but knew with tha numbers this would be more than just not easy ta get this sword from this general. We began our preparations ta start pickin a few of tha orcs off and then it happened.

We were ambushed! Waves of orcs came runnin at us. Boo and mees were surrounded, and all I could do was swing me sword in circles ta try ta keep them off of me love. It seemed there were ova a hundred of them tryin ta get at us but we kept fightn and keepn them from knockin us off of our horses We were growin mighty tired and did not see any end of tha orcs. I just kept swingin and was glad I made me new armors as a big spear bounced off me chest. Boudeccai called her magics and set them on fire, and I kept slashin as they approached. Me arms were about ta fall off from fatigue but kept fightin.

Finally, I thought we won but one snuck by and headed fer Boo! Me gut tightened in fear fer me Love, and I drew me bow and aimed fer it's head. It was movin fast! I led it a good bit and breathed out as I released. Tha arrow struck true as tha beast fell sliding under Boo's horse almost knocking her off. I rode up ta her ta see if she was alright when she screamed at me ta turn around.

Another wave of orcs came runnin towards us. We barely regained any of our strength but we were determined ta not give up any ground. Usin tha fear from seein tha orc almost get to me wife, I kept swingin. I could no longa feel me arms but saw me blade slashin as one by one dropped. Finally, tha last of the wave fell unda me blade, and I was nae goin ta let them sneak up on us again. Boo and mees stood ready fer the next attack.

There he was! General Drull was chargin toward us in what seemed ta be hundreds of orcs. I drew me bow and aimed at him as he approached. Breathing out I fired and saw the arrow land in his shoulder. The big orc broke it off and grinned and kept chargin towards us.

The general sent his soldiers in first! I managed ta get their attention but kept an eye out on em ta make sure he did nae sneak around and attack me Love. I looks back ta see if Boo was doin alright and me heart jumped out of me chest. She was chargin tha General. I yelled fer her ta stay back, and she just scowled at me. I kept swingin with energy drawn up from fear fer loosin me wife as She let out her magics onta tha general. She then drew her sword and went in fer tha kill. I managed ta get the soldiers down ta just a few and ran ta help er. As I got there, tha general fell unda er blade, and I turned me attention ta tha two remainin soldiers tha were runnin in fear. I picked one off with me bow and me Love burned one up with a bolt of her magics! She was grinnin at me as I was glowin red with anger at er runnin inta danger like that.

She came ta me and gave me a kiss as she gloated in her taking the general down herself. I knows she can handle herself well but do nae like ta see er in danger. Me anger turned inta love as she smiled and looked at me with her pretty green eyes.

I pulled the sword out of the hands of the fallen general, and we started ta head back to meet with Cannix Silverflame. As we started ta head out, the orcs were formin up fer another attack. I turned around and heald up tha sword of their fallen general, and I could see fear in their eyes. They started ta retreat so we turned around and headed out of the valley. If the orcs caused any more problems, we will be back ta finish them off.

Cannix Silverflame was right about tha Lightstone's powers. It started ta glow brightly, and he gave it to us. He said ta keep it safe and thanked us fer our hard work.

Boo and mees had a few words to em about tha orc ambush, but he did nae seem ta be the ones that informed them of us comin. An orc scout must of spotted us. I will make not of their intellegence and will be mroe carefull in dealin with them in tha future.
