TV show recommendations

Exuming this as I didn't want to start a new thread

I've recently started to read the "Sword of Truth" novels and I must admit I enjoy the story. I just discovered there was a show based on the story (apparently entering second season) and I was wondering if anyone had a look at it. The reason I ask is that the few pictures I saw made me think of the Hercules show.... so let's say I'm doubious at best

I watched a large part of the first season of "Legend of the Seeker". It had its moments...but was not fantastic. I watched it mostly because "beggars can't be choosers", when it somes to sword and sorcery TV shows.


Season 2 recently came out on DVD I think (and is being replayed on TV), but I don't think it got picked up for a third season.

EDIT: OK, I confess. I watched it because Bridget Regan (Kahlan) is dreamy. Long dark hair, blue eyes, white medieval dress (complete with ample cleavage), rides a horse, fights in slow motion with daggers, and has magical powers. <swoon>
