The Old Republic: Revan (no spoilers)

I just finished reading the book, as it seemed required reading for someone who enjoyed KOTOR1 and KOTOR2 so much.

Among other things, it finally gives a name to the Jedi Exile!

But most of all, it practically screams out "hey, this is how we're setting up the end game for SWTOR" in the final chapters.  I'd be very surprised if it didn't.

So, what did you actually think of the book? Is it worth picking up or is it similar to Fatal Alliance?

It was decent.  I'm not a heavy fiction reader by any means, so I'm not a great source for what's good and what's not.  I read the plot to Fatal Alliance and it didn't seem that interesting as Revan.

Revan is certainly worth reading if, like me, you are one of the thousands who wanted to know about when Revan hunted for his past after KOTOR1. Because if you played KOTOR2, you'll recall that there was no info about Revan except for "he disappeared."

I was thinking about picking it up for SWtOR plot info. I did play KOTOR but I barely remember it. I'll wait a bit longer for more reviews.

Without giving away anything major, the Sith storyline on Drumond Kaas takes an interesting path with regards to Revan.

This is not really related to Revan but KOTOR 1's approach to the major "story twist" is almost the same as that of Xenogears for anyone who played that.
