Home page news block

The officers want to make sure the News block on the home page is updated with useful and current information.  I have created a new sticky message in the Announcements forum where you can tell me things that you would like to have promoted.  Check it out!

Oh! I never actually go to the home page and had never actually seen the news block. My favorite link takes me straight to the forum. Learn something new every day!

That's kind of the point - we have a lot of features available to us that we aren't using, and want to see what new awesome we can add. 

On the same note, does everyone see the "News!' block at the top of every forum page?  It has a rotating set of interesting and useful messages as well.

Yes, just below the search area, on the top right of the forums, there is the same News Section.
