Hello, Wiffle.

While I realise we have not seen eye-to-eye in recent months - other than because you are a tiny, tiny asura creature - I hold toward you no very little ill will.

I do possess some level of respect for your intentions and perseverence, albeit cautious - if not entirely disapproving - of your methods. It is because of this, the former, and our mutual friend, Rafe Harkner, that I felt the need to contact you.

Firstly, I assure you that I am in excellent health and in no way require your services, samples of your merchandise or any other physical contact. However, it has come to my attention that you may have suffered a security breach.

I recall your mention of interns collecting samples ... Or something, for you, in our conversation today. I hope they have returned well. By chance, has one not returned with the others? Transcripts of what I can only assume to be your journal or research notes have somehow made their way into the public eye.

Forgive me but I have a rather unquenchable thirst for reading and so I flicked through the page or two that I stumbled across ... Let's not get into where. I took the page so no one else could read it and enclose it in order to return it to you.

(Attached copied pages of journal)

Firstly, I believe you have mistaken the word EUREKA for the phrase "Dear Diary". Joviality aside, if I interpret your notes correctly, you are working on a risen depopulation formula and have been testing it in Lychcroft Mere. Though so far the syrum has been unsuccessful.

I fear your competitor may have been behind this and, further, beaten you to the punch, as it were. Let us hope that punch was spiked.

I have recently travelled back to the lands in Orr and where the Risen had once covered the land like grass, their population has significantly dwindled. It would be grand to presume The Pact's efforts are behind this but I suspect one of your competitors may have borrowed your idea and done some testing of their own.

Upon reading your notes, I was set to congratulate you on your success with your field tests in Orr only to find you never performed any. Hopefully I am wrong but I offer this note so you can adapt your plans accordingly. And perhaps seek out your possible leak, assuming one exists.

Regards of some description
Ewin
