GW2 and Destiny's Hammer: Important Announcement

The current Destiny's Hammer guildleader posted a notice today that they would like to go back to their original guild roster and their own tight-knit family. This means that the members who joined over the past few months, including folks they so generously took in from Saga (thanks again, Ethawn and Elly!) have been asked to stand down from the Hammers.

I just wanted to post this here as a heads-up to people playing in GW2 who might not frequent the Hammer boards. Also, it might be correct to stop the donations to the board upkeep and guild influence (soon to be a moot point, I suppose), although it's never inappropriate to support a group of friends, eh? They're a great group of players, and I hope their downsizing doesn't mean we lose contact with all the friends we've made over there and the wonderful players we've come to know and love.

That's a shame.

edit: I tried logging in to the hammer forums but couldn't for some reason . I figured I forgot my enjin password and tried to reset it but the hammer site wouldn't let me.
Which is strange since I can log onto my other enjin sites, but Im always forgetting enjin passwords anyway so nothing new for me.

Anyway, I left the hammers guild , there wasn't anyone on that I could say good bye to . I wish I could have said good bye on the forums properly and thanked them for their kindness and allowing me to play with them.
If there is a way to pass that on mixxi that would be appreciated.

You can always PM people through your Enjin account. I do know that the post from the guildleader was locked and no one could respond to the thread. I was able to post a thank-you for the good times in the shoutbox.  Your enjin password should work for all your enjin accounts, I thought.

I do know at least one Hammer officer comes by here *waves* so maybe he can pass on your thanks for the good times.

Ooo awesome. As long as they can see it and pass it on , its not an issue.

I wouldn't know who to pm to be honest so ill leave it up to passing hammers to carry the news back or when I see them ingame when I get a chance to play.

Yes, if anyone has any messages (nice ones) for the Hammers, I can pass them along. I am, for the time being, a Hammer officer :)

Ethawn

I won't speak for anyone but myself, but I wanted to say that I personally felt that Saga was a damn fine fit with the kind of guild that Elly and I were attempting to build. I hold you all in the highest regard. I think you will find that this sentiment is held by many.

If you can pass on the message : Thank you ! For having me and giving me a home. The kindness and warmth was much appreciated. I hope that if hammer folks ever need a hand or help with something to not hesitate to ask me if Im around. And that again it was much appreciated !

Message sent :)

And I agree wholeheartedly with Ethawn. I have enjoyed playing with the Saga members immensely, and I hope I continue to have adventures with them.

We made many friends in the Hammers. My greatest regret at our being asked to leave is that we may not see them as often.

I'll be copying the guild roster to my friend list in game so that I can keep in contact with all our friends.

Quoteand I hope I continue to have adventures with them.

I know I speak for all of GW2 Saga when I say the feeling is reciprocated. We'd like nothing more. I am confident any Saga member would delight in contact being kept and still battling the dragons together. And the other random content coming fortnightly.

Hammers was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed our time there and I hope I won't have to say that I miss them.  By this, I mean that it is my hope that they will stay in touch and that we will still group and roleplay together regularly.
