E and I set up a server on an old comp and are running Biomes O' Plenty. Totally in love with it. 80 NEW biomes, plus another bunch of sub biomes, new trees and flowers. We've been exploring for days and days, can't bear to stop anywhere because we want to see what's over the next hill.

(also after seeing that video- we need to find that shading mod!)

Right now we're trying to figure out how to have guests. We got Goose onto the server ok. Not sure if there's any interest what with Landmark around the corner, but wanted to show you guys the mod. :)

I use this for my kids' minecraft server: https://mcprohosting.com/

The plans are pretty cheap (we're just running the dirt plan.  It's 6 bucks a month and then the server can stay up 24x7 and we don't need to tie up any PCs in the house with it and don't have to mess with router settings etc.  Performance has been fine).

Those look great.
Have you tried adding Mo' Creatures?
That's the one that really makes minecraft active to me.

Coincidentally we had talked about adding Mo Creatures to it tonight. :P

It's the only mod I used when I was playing solo.
