Welcome to Saga guild!

Please be sure to read the posts stickied at the top of this forum and be sure you agree with the rules and charter. This guild has a history, as you will see. It is, well, a Saga. 

Saga is also part of a multi-game guild formed when a few wandered off to try other games. Sister guilds are forming, and we all come here to check on each other. This multi-game guild is currently called SagaFamily. We are indeed a family.

To become part of that, please take the time to fill out the attached roster card and post it to this message. This procedure is for the others here who will not see you in EQ2 so they can get to know you. You do not have to fill the roster card out to be part of Saga in-game. You can do it now or in the future. You can fill one out even if you do not wish to join the larger family. There is no pressure, and no rush. Take your time and look around.

Just a reminder: after your first post you will be granted access to the private game related forums, such as questing and tradeskills.

Mimiel female fae of Tunare, dirge.

Mimiel has not taken any tradeskills yet, still wondering what could be useful both to her and the fine guildmates.

She is my only character in Qeynos and I play only on Antonia Bayle server. I did made a freeportian necromancer while waiting for Echoes of Faydwer to come out (my husband plays freeport so I have 2 characters that are active).

I know of Saga from Everquest 1 where the good reputation of the guild and it's friendly members is a fact. When I came to EQ2 and saw that Saga was here also I did not looked elsewhere for a guild, not even tried another one hehee.

Is there anyone you have gotten to know from our family, IC or OOC?
I roleplay with many of the members but none more then another.

What Roleplay games have you participated in?
Too many  :laugh: online: Everquest, Dark Age of Camelot, World of Warcraft and tabletop: Forgotten Realms (D&D), Vampire the Masquerade, Wraith the Oblivion to name only those one. I participate as a *comedian* in many LARPs (live action role playing games) for many years also.

What are you looking for as a member of our guild?
People to make friends in the game and roleplay with, live adventures with and discover their backgrounds or present stories. I am not into raiding and such nor getting big loots, I am really but a simple roleplayer.

Please answer the following three questions, IN CHARACTER:

Tell us of your past.
I was a fair koada'dal lady, a fury and healer of my people, citizen of Qeynos. But alas! As I was exploring the old land of Faydwer I met a mischievious little flutterbee who tricked me into a game. With the help of a magical trinket we exchanged bodies to see the world for a day with the other race eyes. The little fae trickster never came back at the meeting point, having ran away with my fine high elf body. Woe me, I searched everywhere for days but no one seemed to know where the body thief had gone. I am now caught as a fae and have to learn how to live and survive in the world (of course the other fairies think I am making a joke and don't believe my story). Did I mentionned also the difficulties of playing with oversized instruments? Much adaptation lies ahead.

What hobbies and directives do you presently have?
Besides working on perfecting my poetry and the many musical instruments I play I try to help those I can find on my path who are in need of help for the greater good. I explore a lot and love drawing the beauty of the wild, you will see me often with my box of crayons, trying to capture the colors of Nature. I am also working on magical songs, well dirges, for the deads, so they can be helped into eternal peace without the use of violence. A lifetime work I know but I am sure it can be done, I hate violence. I wish I could make up my mind on taking on a tradeskill but.. well my koada'dal heritage take over on that, I dislike working heehee.

Where do you see yourself in the future?
** Looks slightly shocked** But as the greatest minstrel that was ever grace to be born on our fair world of course! My poems and ballads will be sing for generations to come for they will be the most touching and true work of art that people will have heard. Children will want their parents to sing them my lullabies to lull then to sleep, lovers will part with each others with the tears born of my poems, our poor diseased will join Tunare's side at the sound of my dirges! I really wonder why you ask such a  question, it's obvious no? I will be honored as a nation poet of course and asked to teach many young talented bards. Alas! My book has been stolen by that pesky fae so much work still lies ahead. I do have to convince the koada'dals that I am one of them also!

The option of completing a quest journal or not has been added to the process of becoming a Veteran.  Please note the posting at http://sagafamily.org/forum/index.php?topic=1446.0 for the details.  If you elect to do the quest journal you will only need a majority vote.  If you elect not to do the quest journal, you will need a unanimous vote.  Let me know which you want because it is up to me to prepare your journal if you choose to go that route!

Tanuvan, they were larps in Canada so unless you live in the french province I doubt you have heard of any I organized and/or participated in
