Talethia

Talethia smiles nervously with anticipation as she approaches the homely looking tavern. The heavy wooden door opens with a slight squeak, though Talethia is unsure whether or not she herself created the sound in her excited state. Her blonde hair gives one final shimmer in the bright sunlight before being plunged into the shade of the building.

Having spent most of her day hunting in solitude and sitting in the cool shade of the forest of Greater Faydark, the very idea of making new friends sends a tingle of exhilaration through her. She scans the room for her friends Alarielle and Korhil, but is instead greeted by the curious faces of several customers of various races. Talethia smiles cheerfully at each, hoping that the more stoic amongst them will not be too irritated by her overenthusiasm for... well, everything.

Reaching the bar, she is greeted by the bartender with a friendly, "Hello there! What'll ya have?"

"An ale, please." She smiles, handing over a few coins as payment. "Have ye perchance seen Alarielle around, sir? I was to meet her here, as she offered to introduce me to some of her friends."

The bartender chuckles as he hands the young woman her drink, "Ah, she should be along soon enough; Alarielle and her husband enjoy their drink, ya know."

Talethia giggles as she accepts the proffered glass, "Thank ye. Oh, I know all about the Feldynes and their drinking!" She leans over the bar, her voice falling to a conspiratorial whisper. "Why, once I was out with Alarielle and she got so drunk that she fell into an open fireplace..."

As Talethia and the bartender continue to chatter, the High Elf takes a seat by the bar. Taking a swig from her ale, she glances up at the rafters, wondering if she will make any more new friends today...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alarielle
Wandering Paladin

Alarielle opens the door to the Tavern, she has quite a thirst for a nice cold ale. Stepping forward she notices a familiar figure perched at the bar, sharing a private joke with the bartender. Glancing a second time, Alarielle realises the young woman is Talethia, a good friend of hers.
"Talethia, tis good to see you here, would you like another drink? I notice your glass is getting empty and if you're anything like me you'd want another one". She beams a smile at the elf and beckons for the bartender.
"Two cold ales please, make it quick if you can, I need a drink after the day I've had".
She sits next to Talethia and taking her glass in her hand she raises in the air "To friendship" she states and takes a long gulp. "I guess you'll be wanting to meet my friends will you? Hopefully they'll be coming in soon and you can introduce yourself. They're a nice bunch, very friendly and have a liking for ale. So you have something in common already".

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Korhil
Templar of Tunare

Korhil walks into the tavern, knowing his wife, Alarielle will already be there.

He strides into the dimly lit room and approaches the bar. "Bartender give me a glass of my usual, and one for yourself". Thanking him the bartender hands Korhil a glass of Tunare's finest.

Alarielle is sat at the end of the bar with a friend of their's Talethia. He greets them both and sits down on a stool. "Well, it's sure nice to see you in here Talethia, hope the adventures throughout Norrath are going well? Ahh, the night is still young, I hope a few friends will drop in for a drink and a chat. I would be most honoured to introduce you to them".

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Serinity Di'Marcia
Holy Knight of Tunare

Coming in just in time to hear the words Ale and Friends, Serinity sees Korhil and Alarielle talking to someone they seem to know, so asking the bartender for a big ale, she pulls up a stool next to Alarielle.... "So, may I ask who your friend is?" putting a few platinum on the bar, "Here bartender, this is so none of us go thirsty" Looking in distain at Korhil's wine "Must you always drink that friend? ick, drink some ale!"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Korhil
Templar of Tunare

"I'll have you know Serenity, this is Tunare's finest wine friend, not the ogre swill that you throw down your neck each night friend."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alarielle
Wandering Paladin

Alarielle chuckles at Serinity, as Korhil defends his reasons for not having a proper ale like the rest of them. "Talethia is a friend of mine, a high elven Paladin of Tunare, much like the rest of us sat here" she says "She wanted to meet my friends from Saga after hearing many a good tale about them throughout Norrath."

Looking at Korhil with a smile, Alarielle states "Well, I think it's your turn to buy the next round of drinks."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Talethia

Talethia represses the urge to giggle at the exchange taking place in front of her, which unfortunately lodges in her throat and forces its way out as a small snort. Her eyes widen with embarrassment, and she finds herself laughing out loud.

"Greetings Serenity, 'tis good to meet you. I have been looking forward to meeting Alarielle and Korhil's friends, indeed anyone from the Saga family. I hear so many good things about them, I feel like I already know you all."

Talethia raises her ale and nods at Alarielle in thanks, "Here's to making new friends, and hopefully getting to know them well!"

Talethia beams a smile, silently thanking Tunare for her good fortune.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Serinity Di'Marcia
Holy Knight of Tunare

OGRE SWILL! Ohhh so you think ya be too good ta drink Ale with the rest of us, eh? BAH! Keep drinking that frilly foofe wine!
And Talethia, it is a pleasure indeed to meet a friend of Korhil and Alarielle's <smiles>

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mixxi Bixiebane
Diva of Destruction

Mixxi looks inquiringly at the table full of paladins and, after hesitating a moment, goes over to join them.

She removes her gauntlet and reaches her small, calloused hand out to Talethia in a handclasp of friendship.

"Welcome, young knight! You have my respect for your chosen profession, and my affection for your choice of friends here."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Talethia

Talethia gratefully clasps Mixxi's hand in her own, noticing the rough skin... the hands of a formidable fighter, no doubt. She shakes Mixxi's hand, perhaps a little too enthusiatically, but with genuine delight.

"Mixxi, I am indeed honoured. I have heard great things about you from Korhil and Alarielle, and I hope to know you better. May I buy you a drink?"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mixxi Bixiebane
Diva of Destruction

"Good heavens, lass! Don't stand on ceremony! Buy away!"

Mixxi grabs a chair and puts her elbows on the table.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Talethia

Talethia notices Mixxi's relaxed body language, and in an effort to fit in with the brave warriors around her, she parts her legs and props her elbows on the table awkwardly. Realizing that she looks fairly ridiculous, she then subtly slides her elbows off the table and folds her arms across her chest, giggling quietly at herself.

"Barkeep, I'll have another short ale please, and whatever Mixxi here wants is on me."

The bartender nods and turns to retrieve the bottle of ale, and Talethia places some coins on the bar as payment.

"So Mixxi, please... tell me all about your life here." She grins, bouncing lightly in her seat with anticipation. "I would love to hear of your adventures!"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Caillou
Pebble with a bow

Caillou walks in the door of the tavern in time to hear, "paladin of Tunare" and smiles broadly. Another to fight in the name of my goddess, she thinks to herself.

Caillou tumbles her packs and blades by the door as she cranes her neck to see what they are all drinking. Seeing that there is already various metal bits on the table to cover drinks she nods and the barkeep, gets one of Tuppen's finest and heads for the table herself, her bow still on her back.

"Hello," she says, as she approaches, broad smile still on her face, nodding to those at the table with an almost bow. Caillou wipes her free hand on her tunic and stretches it out to Talethia. "I'm new here, but I think you are newer than I. I'm Caillou, and if you are a paladin of my goddess then you are truly well met and a wonderous thing to have... err... to see. I like those who fight Tunare's righteous battle."

Caillou takes a quick sip and sets her stein on the table before taking her bow from her back, setting it gently next to a table, and sinking into a chair at the table.

"Oh, sorry to interrupt you, Mixxi," says Caillou, suddenly realising she heard Talethia asking to hear tales. "I too would love to hear about your adventures."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Talethia

Talethia glances towards the door in time to see an attractive stranger enter the tavern, grinning broadly. She watches as the woman makes her way confidently through the crowd, nodding towards those she recognises. She smiles as the woman wipes a hand on her tunic and then extends it towards her.

Gratefully clasping the proffered hand in a firm, warm grip, Talethia smirks and raises an eyebrow at the woman's slip of tongue.

"Well met indeed, Caillou. Anyone who fights for the Goddess is good in my book; I hope to know you better." Talethia grins and nods towards Mixxi. "But that doesn't mean that you're going to get out of telling me a story or two!"
