TWILIGHT'S END


She looked upon her hand and saw clearly that it was as she feared. She was much fainter now than before. Her matter dissipating until light would no longer touch it. Twilight was ending.

Looking around she realized everything was dimmer, sounds had become softer, her own voice as she tried to call out to him was stilled. In her mind she whispered 'Korg I always loved you.'

There was little sorrow, just resignation. She began the journey to the tavern. Once more she would look upon all their faces before nightfall.
