Welcome to Saga guild!

Please be sure to read the posts stickied at the top of this forum and be sure you agree with the rules and charter. This guild has a history, as you will see. It is, well, a Saga. 

Saga is also part of a multi-game guild formed when a few wandered off to try other games. Sister guilds are forming, and we all come here to check on each other. This multi-game guild is currently called SagaFamily. We are indeed a family. To become part of that, please take the time to fill out the attached roster card and post it to this message.

If, after your membership is accepted, you wish to become a Veteran you will be required to do a quest journal.  Your sponsor will prepare a journal for you with a question unique to you and place it in the Library within three days of your request to be considered for veteran status.  The quest requires that you interview at least three people who are of Member or better rank in game.  You will need to post their response and your reflections, if any, about the interview IC.  If you elect to apply for Veteran status, a majority vote of the leadership of the family at large is required to attain Veteran status.  You are not required to become a veteran if you do not wish to.

Just a reminder: after your first post you will be granted access to the private game related forums, such as questing and tradeskills.

Gremmik is an Ogre Monk.  He left the cruelty of Freeport behind and strives to embrace the goodness he's seen from the inhabitants of Qeynos and Kelethin.  He hasn't had much time for study yet, though he's likely to become a student of combat arts.  He finds the discipline of self improvement calming.

I have a handful of alts.  Only one of any significance is Zakmar a Troll Defiler on the path to becoming a Mystic.

How did you hear of us?

You guys looked like the best fit when we hit 'U' - and so far we're really happy we found you all.

It's only been a couple days since we met the first members of Saga.  We've really enjoyed playing with Renei, Konnar, Callysta, and Siya (they're the ones we've spent the most time with).  We've met a couple others (Hi Wulfdar!)  - I'm horrible with names, If I've forgotten or misspelled anyone, it's not on purpose, honest!

What are you looking for as a member of our guild?

Fun, companionship, a few laughs.  Some actual RP (oddly hard to find in an MMORPG, but great to see this in Saga so far!).  And once I'm familiar with the game (and have settled in comfortably with the family), I look forward to finding a niche and becoming bloody amazing at it.  I do have a life, though (or at least I like to pretend I do).

Me grow up inna Freeports.  Not likes it doe - pain an hates all round dere.  Goes da lizzyplace an meets Shira.  She nice lizzypup.  Lizzyplace not so bad as Freeports, but still not feels gud.  Smell funny.  We bash birdies an bones an trees an munkies.  Fun, but sumtin still not rite.  Goes back ta Freeports an meets nice mousey.  Mousey always thirsty, but still nice mousey!

Mousey tells us bout udder places an nice peepuls.  We heps mousey do stuffs ta stop bad Lucan, but sumtin bad happen an evbuddy get bash'd.  Wake up in hole wit runaway peepuls.

Shira say faeries gud and lives in trees.  Dat soun like funs so we goes dere.  Bash lots orcs.

Me like bash orcs.  Rocks is gud fer dat.

Horsie comes wit us.  He shy doe, an peepul runs frum him.

Horsie sad.

Talk ta faerie queen and now lives in acorn.  Me reel carefuls, not break nuttin in queen acorn.  Masta dere starts teach me ta has "balance" and "tranquility."  Dem is gud tings, but sumtimes ferget bout dem cuz bash so much fun.  Me try, doe!

Jump frum trees is fun.  Gots to be careful not lands on faeries doe - sumtimes dey fergets ta look up.

Shira sez we's gud now too, so kin go da Qeynos an see halflins an froggies an hummies dat not spit on yu.

Qeynos gots funny hummiecows unda it.  Dem is fun bash.  Still tink orcs is more funs doe.

Me practice be gud and bash nice like Masta.  Masta say it take whole life.  Me tink dat ukay - even if ferget sumtimes.
