Welcome to Saga guild!

Please be sure to read the posts stickied at the top of this forum and be sure you agree with the rules and charter. This guild has a history, as you will see. It is, well, a Saga. 

Saga is also part of a multi-game guild formed when a few wandered off to try other games. Sister guilds are forming, and we all come here to check on each other. This multi-game guild is currently called SagaFamily. We are indeed a family. To become part of that, please take the time to fill out the attached roster card and post it to this message.

If, after your membership is accepted, you wish to become a Veteran you will be required to do a quest journal.  Your sponsor will prepare a journal for you with a question unique to you and place it in the Library within three days of your request to be considered for veteran status.  The quest requires that you interview at least three people who are of Member or better rank in game.  You will need to post their response and your reflections, if any, about the interview IC.  If you elect to apply for Veteran status, a majority vote of the leadership of the family at large is required to attain Veteran status.  You are not required to become a veteran if you do not wish to.

Just a reminder: after your first post you will be granted access to the private game related forums, such as questing and tradeskills.

Bead grew up sheltered in Baubbleshire one of many children but by far the smallest halfling in the village. Her father tells it that she was no larger than a bead when she was born so he named her that. (He's a practical fellow.) She worked hard for her mother and did what chores she could and helped with the little ones until they became bigger than her. She'd been so busy she'd never even left Baubbleshire to see the great city of Qeynos or go to any of the parades with the pretty Queen. Her mother always seemed to catch her daydreaming out of the kitchen window when her imagination would get away from her and she'd think about what was outside the walls of her house and outside of the confines of the Baubbleshire.

Recently her mother gave her a small pouch of coins and told her to get her own room at the Inn and go and see some things before she was old and used up like she was. It was the hardest thing Bead ever did leaving her family behind to explore the big wide world.

Last night she spent her first night in her inn room and couldn't sleep for the quiet! Where were the sounds of 24 feet tramping up the steps? After a fitful night she ventured into Qeynos and found someone to teach her carpentry so that she can furnish her little rooms and sent some things home to Mother. Imagine how much room they'd have with bunkbeds!

She's also been inquiring how to further her talents conjuring things from the ground and the air to join in the good Queen's fight against the darkness that tries to creep into the city every moment. She's not very strong yet, but with Marble at her side, she's learning how to  find her way around and further her skills so that the Queen can be proud to have her as a citizen.



Do you have alternate characters (freeport/qeynos/etc.) (horde/alliance/etc.) on the same server?

Bead is my only character on AB, I normaly play on LDL, but I'm looking for a place to play and relax where I don't have to be the guild leader.

How did you hear of us?

I used the in game guild search.

Is there anyone you have gotten to know from our family, IC or OOC?

Not yet, but I hope to know many very soon!

What Roleplay games have you participated in?

I've never played any table top rp games, but I've played EQ2 for 5 years, City of Heroes/Villains for 5 years, Guild Wars for 4 years (but nobody actually seems to rp there) I did the Beta for D&D Online and LOTRO and a few others.

What are you looking for as a member of our guild?

I'm looking for a place to rp while I adventure. I love crafting the most, but also enjoy teaming up to do some adventuring.

Tell us of your past. 
*stands on a chair so she can be seen better* I was born and raised in Baubbleshire, there are 17 of us young ones and I'm somewhere in the middle of them. Four of the older ones have joined the Qeynos Guard and seek there fortune. I leave 12 behind with Mum. I didn't do much besides help with chores and young ones. I spent most of my time reading at night when I could have a moment's peace. I haven't really seen much of anything.

What hobbies and directives do you presently have?

I've just started learning to be a carpenter and I really enjoy it. Wood is great, it does what you want without arguing! I'm also learning how to be a better Conjurer. It seems that Marble is more that a pet that showed up when I was lonely!

Where do you see yourself in the future?

Oh, I hope I get to see the Queen! I hope to get to move into one of those fine houses I've seen in the city and I hope to be successful enough to send money home to my Mum! I don't have any grand plans, I'm just a little halfling...better to keep my ideas small.
