Hey folks,

A friend of mine who is a member here recommended I check this guild out when he discovered I would be playing TOR. I've spent some time looking around the forums and chatting with him and it seems like this group will be a good fit for me. I'm in my late 20's and am looking for a mature group who will a) be fun to RP with; and b) understand that real life commitments exist and support a balanced lifestyle.

Class - Smuggler
God/Beliefs - Lady luck and the blaster at my belt
Tradeskill - Armstech

Do you have alternate characters on same server? Just planning on running the smuggler for now. I may play around later.

What Roleplay games have you participated in?

This will be my first MMORPG. All of the roleplay I've done prior has been in the pen and paper world. Mostly D&D, but I've tried out the Serenity RPG as well.

Please answer the following three questions, IN CHARACTER:

Tell us of your past: I grew up on a backwater world on the distant outer rim. The place was pure frontier. Not much law to speak of and so you learned to get good with a blaster pretty quick. Those who didn't....well, they either found someone to attach themselves to who did or their life expectancy shrunk a great deal. As you can imagine, gangs were the norm. Always some big shot or another boasting about his turf and what's his. Growing up, I kept myself fed by doing jobs for all of them. I became somewhat of an expert at thieving and getting into places I wasn't supposed to be. Learned how to talk my way out of them pretty quick too the first time I ran headlong into a security guard.

With age however came free thought and wilfulness, and my thoughts on personal independence were not the most popular among those who fancied themselves in control. So I did the smart thing and bought myself passage off-world first chance I got. I spent some years thereafter building up a small nest egg while working with a crew that specialized in 'alternative procurement and transport'. Soon as it got large enough I bought my own ship and struck out on my own.

What hobbies and directives do you presently have?

Find a job. Get paid. Keep flying. The stars are freedom and my ship is my home. When time permits I like tinkering with blasters. I've got a fondness for classic timepieces too. Real clockwork. I don't stick around in any one place for to long but I always make sure to take in the sights when I'm there. The galaxies a crazy place. It's amazing what you miss when you don't take the time to look.

Where do you see yourself in the future?

I go where the jobs are and I don't ask a lot of questions. I'm not much interested in your religion or your politics. That said, from what I've seen the Sith are just a bunch of glorified gang leaders fighting over turf, same as back home. Only difference is when they tell people they're the boss they've got a few more people dumb enough to believe them. Come to me with a job that could p**s them off and I may just give you a discount.
