Welcome to the Saga guild!

Please be sure to read the posts stickied at the top of this forum and be sure you agree with the rules and charter. This guild has a history, as you will see. It is, well, a Saga.

Please take the time to fill out the attached roster card and post it to this message. This procedure is for the others here who will not see you in Wildstar so they can get to know you. You have two weeks to fill it out, then we'll remind you and give you a two-week extension. 

Saga is also part of a multi-game guild formed when a few wandered off to try other games. Sister guilds have formed, and we all come here to check on each other. This multi-game guild is currently called SagaFamily. We are indeed a family.

As an Initiate, you should now have access to the private game related forums, such as questing and crafting disciplines.

Indeed! Droogara = hot zombie of stabbities. I also have both factions over on Cassus.

My darling beloved Ruberyl found you and said you were just the sort of family they like. 

Nobody yet, but I'm sure there will be more folks around by launch!

What types of games have you participated in? (include all types, such as pen/paper or MMORPGs, PC, Console, board games, card games.)
D. All of the above. I also played MUDs as well as graphics-based MMORPG's, and am pretty darn amazing at UNO.

What other games are you interested in that Saga participates or is moving towards?
I currently also dabble in WoW, GW2, and SWTOR.

What aspects of gaming have you enjoyed in the past and/or looking forward to enjoying with Saga? Light raiding, dungeon delving, situational roleplay, story-writing, crafting, PvP, etc.
I've done hardcore raiding, but now that I have a "real life" (sort of), I'm trying to restrain myself and keep it light. PvP really is a game by game basis whether it interests me or not. I love to RP, especially if it's also doing something to advance the characters in game, but am not much of one for crafting plots or leading such things. Much better at leading dungeons!

What are you looking for as a member of our guild?
A lovely group of folks to keep company with during my many many many hours of adventures, and to roleplay with as well. ^.^

Tell us of your past.
The fidgety little Aurin stuffs a hand into her already mussed mane of bright purple hair, tugging on it as she chews her lip. "Well, I used to be a pilot. Passed all my tests and virtual flights top of my class! Only thing is, I've got some rum luck. Somehow, no matter how good I fly, seems like every ship I've ever even been on has crashed! Now, you may be thinkin' it can't be every one, but s'truth. Even lost one in a sun once...though we obviously got everyone out long 'afore it got there. Controls got all wibbly somehow." She makes wild, careening steering gestures as she speaks, obviously getting into it. Stopping, she looks at you and grins sheepishly. "Anywho, they decided eventually, even though it was not my fault, I should prolly be lookin' for another job. So, yeah, that's how I ended up here...after a few more crashed ships. Not my fault!"

What hobbies and quests do you presently have?
"Hobbies? Well now, aside from keepin' Ruberyl in line and workin' on my awesome new house, I like explorin', and shootin' Dommies. They call me and my babies here The Fates..." she pauses and unholsters her pistols, spinning them and making fake shooting motions (complete with a high-pitched "PEWPEW!") before reholstering "...cuz you look down one barrel, you see yer Past flashin' before yer eyes. Down the other you see the Future you wish you'da had. Then you look me in the eyes, and you come right straight to the Present...and that's the last thing you see, if yer an evil Dommie."

Where do you see yourself in the future?
"Ya mean, after we get rid of all the Dommies? Well, shoot, hadn't thought much on that. I'm pretty good with my hands, and although cuttin' trees is a shame, I got some skill at craftin' with the stuff. Maybe I'll make furniture and stuff, sell it to folks. Or maybe move in with Ruberyl, be her cook. Them Granok make some fine hooch, but they mostly suck at cookin' food."

Welcome to the family!  Glad to have you on board.  (Although, with a record like yours, I might not want to have you on board for shiphand missions.  Just sayin.    )

To be fair, I have done one of the Shiphand missions with Miiko...



And that's why our responses have been so slow. I'm hoping this asteroid gets regular supply drop-offs, and I figure if we put her in one of the escape pods and tow her back to Nexus, we might make it back safely.
