Tradeskill plans & coordination?

Anyone organizing some tradeskills?

I'm thinking to work on tailoring and mining first.  I guess/hope the in-game guild roster will point out members' proficiencies, but it may be nice to plan a head a bit to get some diversity!  (especially since it seems there's little point in multiple miners or relic hunters spending too much time together and having to compete for nodes).

We tend to let what people want to do , or take , be the decidin factor . Especially with talent trees , folks with similar trade skills will end up being very diverse for the most part

I also will be putting up a poll closer to launch to see what trade skills folks will be interested in anyway for their main skills since you can switch skills for a small fee and cool down

I wanna make cool stuff for my house. So I think that puts me as architect with survivalist and something else. We shall see though.

Same reason Im not sure of what class Ill go either :p

I got Technologist pretty high in closed beta and enjoyed it, I'll be continuing that for launch.

A warning about Architecture from someone who has been in the beta a long time: it's insanely expensive and mat intensive.

It says to take 'Survivalist' with it, but honestly you need ALL the gatherables for it, in pretty equal proportion: Cloth, wood, tons of ore plus other drops.

I'll level Architecture, but probably not until level cap, and after I've started off a couple of alts doing nothing but gathering.

Don't forget you can also just take two gathering professions out of the three (Relic Hunter, Survivalist, Miner). Mats will be most expensive the first few weeks of launch. Not a bad strategy to sell mats instead of craft while the prices are high.  :)

I'm thinking I'd like to give Weaponcrafting a try.  I went Outfitter/survivalist in the weekend beta, but got frustrated at the fact that leather was such an infrequent random drop off mobs.  I feel like mining off of specific nodes would be less irritating.

Yeah architecture is supposed to be insane - and the overlook I gave it , I realised it was mat intensive - like a ton .

I may go weapon crafting first - but I like to stick to one craft especially with the talent trees - but you know what - that may end up being my end game - full talent trees for every crafting - we shall see how fun I find it.

Maybe I will just do what I always do and collect tons of mats and give them to people to make stuff for me.
