I think you have to register and then apply as a member of the alliance to see alliance pages.
Also gallows is the big town ( second town ) in the starter area for humans exiles and granoks.

Also if anyone still wants to try out wildstar - lots of keys being given away out there - by mmorpg etc.

Beta weekend has been extended to Monday !

So I finally figured out how to queue for PvP. Tried out a few rounds capturing those masks. Won one, lost one.

It was fun but definitely dependent upon numbers to kill people. One on one I found melees were really killing me as a Spellslinger since they have pulls and I do not have pushes. And since everyone runs the same speed they can close the gap but I cannot widen it ... dunno what they are gonna do about that if anything.

It was fun though. I just needed to hang around the melees and shoot stuff for them.

But I am on night shifts and now I need to go to bed Hopefully I will see people on Monday when I am off and peoples have the day off.

Spellslingers get really good when you get your snares and more mobility options - void shift is deadly.
Also amps help a ton!

Had a nice time at the screenshot event thing - about 5 of us showed up due to work issues . It cemented esper for me as my main going into launch.
All those worries about tanking and classes kind of melted away after meeting and talking to folks from other guilds in the alliance. Lots of representation will be had. Also cemented scientist for me as well - there is a nice spread of all paths it seems to boot.

Now to figure out aurin female or exile male

I am going to stick with Spellslinger but I was having some real issues in PvP. Although, after reading online for a bit, my bars were all wrong. I also have not unlocked my 8th slot yet so I switched stuff up and am gonna give it another go.

Coordination on Mumble with people I usually play with would also help.

It was fun to get in a few rounds with Tys and Temus today. Thanks guys for coming. I can see how PvP is going to be really interesting and with a lot of different options depending on your preference for type and group size. I am really looking forward to it.

I just wish I had something to blast people back from me like the Commando in SW:TOR. I feel like Spellslingers really need something like that.

As you level up and get more skills and points - spellslingers outpace melee a lot - there are several abilities that become insta cast, can apply roots and snares, and with gate and voidshift, you can dominate melee who aren't prepared.
There are a number of high end pvp builds out there that show how deadly range can be in skilled hands.

Have a play around with the builds - while at first glance some classes seem similar - eg esper and spellslinger - as you get more skills, ability points and more amps , you can truly see how different classes play.

I was using a similar build to that one Rumze but I didn't have the 8th slot unlocked yet. And I also could not benefit from the teir 4 and 8 bonuses. Some of them are super good and completely change the skills. So I will not judge until I hit level 50 and unlock all my amps as well.

Speaking of which, where do I find the Assassinate amp skill unlock? Grrr. I want that skill.

On the official wildstar forums , in the spellslinger subforum, there should be a thread that shows where all the amp locations are. I know I saw one for stalkers and espers in their subforums.
