Howdy all. Hopefully I am doing this right. I go by Elsavette or Elle. I was directed here by Rumze and the recruitment thread on WSRP. I filled out the roster card to help everyone know more about me. Well, I will just get right into it then : )

Profession: Anthropologist, Intelligence Analyst

Crafting: Outfitter/Survivalist

Daughter of a disgraced highborn Cassian Paige Turner went into exile when a child. Shortly after their exile her father abandoned her and she has made her way through life relying predominately on herself. That's not to say she hasn't benefiting from the timely instruction over the years from important figures in her life providing opportune direction and opportunity. She occasionally does clandestine field work but wishes to retire from that kind of work mostly due to the danger but also because she is an honest person and wishes to get out of the cycle of lies that comes with it. Her hope is now that she can move full time into the role of Intelligence Analyst fully utilising her education as an anthropologist.

Do you have alternate characters on the same server?

It's is likely I will have a few alts. I am having fun with the various play styles offered by the different classes.

How did you hear of us?

Via the Wildstar Roleplayers site on Enjin.

Is there anyone you have got to know from the family, IC or OOC?

I don't believe so but it's a small RP world so, it's possible.

What types of games have you participated in? (include all types, such as pen/paper or MMORPGs, PC, Console, board games, card games.)

Oh, I enjoy gaming so I have played a good number over time and of different genres. Two of my favourite games being Morrowind and Animal Crossing, heehee. From an MMORPG stand point I've played: WoW, STO, Neverwinter, GW2.

What other games are you interested in that Saga participates or is moving towards?

Well, Everquest Next is of interest to me. I likely would have messed about in Landmark before but some of the requirements were a bit high for me. I live in the countryside so, I don't have the fastest connection.

What aspects of gaming have you enjoyed in the past and/or looking forward to enjoying with Saga? Light raiding, dungeon delving, situational roleplay, story-writing, crafting, PvP, etc.

Well, while RP is my priority I participate in all aspects of gameplay. I look forward to some competitive PvP in Wildstar and hope I get to raid as well with some like minded people. I love story writing and forum RP but am just as happy RPing in the game world.

What are you looking for as a member of our guild?

A group of kindered spirits that enjoy their play time together. A guild where members matter to one another; one that feels like a family and like a family they support each other and are also mature enough to accept that we are real people behind the characters and this is our fun time.

Tell us of your past.

My mother died when I was a baby. I was virtually raised by a lowborn governess and a Mechari instructor. When I was seven my life changed dramatically. I went from a grand estate in the countryside to a crowded ship going from place to place. My governess came with us into exile but umm..not the Mechari of course. Can't say I was all that heartbroken. If my lessons weren't perfect his favoured form of correction was electrocution. I was however, a little sad that he was vaporised. I didn't even get to keep the spare parts.

Most people accepted us, begrudgingly and with distrust, as defectors. Although, my governess said that the real reason we had to leave was because my father was sleeping in a bed that was above his station. It was a confusing time for me I went from being waited upon by servants to having to pour my own cereal because my dad needed a bigger and grander bed to sleep in. Shortly after going into exile my father disappeared leaving me to my own fate as it were. So, the most my family ever did for me was provide me with a good education and good genes.

What hobbies and quests do you presently have?

Hobbies..well, I wish I could say there has been time for hobbies in the past. I enjoy drawing even if I am not very good at it. Perhaps one day I will have more time to devote to improving my skills and experience.

Where do you see yourself in the future?

That's hard to say. As a person who has experienced one reversal of fortunes I have to say one never knows what the next day may bring. My hope is that on Nexus I might finally have a real home and an opportunity to better myself and the lives of my friends.

You are in fact doing this right. This coming weekend is a surprise beta weekend so if you have the game and are around this weekend look for one of us in game or on Mumble to get you added to the guild.

Saga was claimed by us on the Dominion side so I am not quite sure what our Exile side guild is currently.

We are playing on Nexus server. My exile character is Tecta. I am working this weekend though so I will most likely not be on. But someone will find you and get you added

Welcome to the Saga guild!

Please be sure to read the posts stickied at the top of this forum and be sure you agree with the rules and charter. This guild has a history, as you will see. It is, well, a Saga.

Thank you for filling out the Roster Card. This procedure is for the others here who will not see you in Wildstar so they can get to know you.

Saga is also part of a multi-game guild formed when a few wandered off to try other games. Sister guilds have formed, and we all come here to check on each other. This multi-game guild is currently called SagaFamily. We are indeed a family.

As an Initiate, you should now have access to the private game related forums, such as questing and crafting disciplines.

Thanks all and I hope to see you all in game soon. My characters are on Nexus. I have characters on both Exile and Dominion. I didn't realise there was a guild on Dominion side. That's great as my characters there might have a home too! Oh, and while similar it would be pronounced Ell as in the french name not sure if hers is the same or not. At any rate, whatever makes things easier.

Our exile guild is called the saga and when the game launches exiles will be our primary focus .
But I get ahead of myself !

A bunch of us went Dominion in beta so we wouldn't spoil the Exile side but the guild is going to be Exile. I am sure everyone will have Dominion alts (except me since I sorta take one character and run with it. I am not an alt-o-holic like most in Saga).

So when the game starts I will actually be quite clueless about the geography of the exile side! Which is actually how I like it. So we can all fumble along together.
