Explorer Questions for Unskilled Jumpers

So for those of you that have had success with the Explorer path, I have a general question or two.

I tried to go explorer on one of my Dominion low level beta characters and was frustrated with it.  The little bit that I played seemed to be very similar to the jumping puzzles in GW2. Is that the general flavor of the Explorer path in Wildstar, or was that only a limited low level look at the game mechanic?

I have generally had little success with the jumping puzzles in GW2, and so I am curious what the Explorer path looks like as you advance in levels. Is the low level bit representative, or does it open up to include more varied mechanics.

I have only done explorer up to about level 10. It mostly has consisted of getting to out of the way places and placing beacons. I am sure it opens up later on. I just like it because I want to 100% an area before moving on and explorer makes sure you do that.

You get access to races, hidden tunnels, scavenger hunts and more complex jumping puzzles. You also get little flags around the map that help you move faster when you touch them .

I just started finding those on a low level Spellslinger I had. I thought it was a race or something so I was trying to zoom around to some unknown objective lol.

I tried the explorer path a bit and I think the jumping puzzles in GW2 could be much more frustrating at times. Due to the poor camera controls/angles in GW2 coupled with lag could make jumping puzzles in that game a real PITA especially after content patches  :tickedoff: Once you get a hang of them in Wildstar as they are structured differently I think you would manage them, whether or not you would have fun doing it is another matter  ;) I found at times when I completed the puzzles people I was in a group with didn't benefit from doing them with me at all but that could just be beta pains I am not sure.

There is this thing for explorers where you put down a certain amount of flags in a map area and claim a plot and apparently all the other paths get something special when you do that. It unlocks something. Sounds cool that other paths benefit if they run around with me and explore.
