Yea, that went well lol.

They kept dropping a Murderbot on us with millions of HP. The problem was, the square was so packed everyone was running at 5-10fps so we all just stood there then we were dead from the telegraph none of us saw. That was after the server crashed a half dozen times. They dropped Murderbot on us several times between crashes. I think it somehow eventually died. I do not think I contributed lol.

Well done Wildstar. No 500 man raids I guess. Just a tad too much for the servers to handle.

In Thayd on Cassus we got a variety of bosses, though mostly Murderbot. Lots of death... so much death... but it was playable, and we kept taking out the bosses. I was down to 3 FPS but I could dodge telegraphs... sometimes. I'll post screenshots later.

no crashes on Cassus but maybe a crash or 2 would have added some variety, many, many bosses many, many deaths no carrot, not entertaining at all for players. On the bright side ill bet the Devs had a blast. Disappointing.......

The lag was massive on Nexus server. It was rubberbanding by a minute then suddenly there was hundreds of orange gear icons above all the dead bodies lol.

Did you guys get the giant floating goat thingey?

Elsavette

Having done my share of  end of beta events I skip out on them now. They are almost always painfully laggy, not much fun, poorly coordinated, and nothing special. Well, at least it's all over now and soon we can start on Nexus for reals.

Forsetti

yes Val there were Rowsdowers every where, some were huge, some were hanging in the air with glowing eyes, others were just spawning & wandering about aimlessly. They seem to be a sort of mascot for the game In the same way as claptrap is for boarderlands.

I told Drakvar that the event seemed to be more of a reward for the devs (the entertainment of Mass-murdering thousands of players over & over) than for players. We started with hundreds & within 20 min it was down to maybe 40, by the end there were 20 players, at best, running around the area trying to avoid the 30 or so level 50 murder & warbots. I mean they have known this day was coming for months if not years. I expect that it wouldn't have taken much to create a truly memorable event with rewards to carry into the game. But as Elsavette said, Onwards & Upwards.

Gith

We only got 1 Murderbot massacring us. That was more than enough with the lag.
