Happy Erollisi Day?

[Mabb]

*The troll sits at the wooden table, muttering to herself as she sorts through stacks of Erollisi day candies.*

*A tear gathers at the corner of her eye and runs down her face, to drip off the tip of her nose.*

*continues muttering and drinking some vile smelling concoction that nobody dares ask about*  Ain't Mabb purty?  Ain't Mabb gots long, green ears?  Aye! 

*Sniff*

[Sunbeam]

"HELO SAGA PEEPLS!!!!!   "

Sunbeam enters the tavern and sees Mabb sitting alone.  He finds "his" chair (the one that didn't crack when he sat in it the first time...) and takes it to her table.

"YOO LUK SAD, MAB!  WHY YOU SAD?  IT EE-ROLE-SEE DAY!  PEEPLS BE HAPPY WITH THER FRENDS ON EE-ROLE-SEE DAY!"

He digs in his knitting bag, and pulls out an absolutely hideous doll.  It has green yarn for its "skin" and long leather "ears".  It is wearing a frilly pink dress with lace and carries a parasol.

"I HAV PREZENT FOR YOU, MAB!  A PRETEE DOLEE FOR YOU!  BECUZ YOO MY GUD FREND HOO HELPT ME WEN I LEEV FREEPORTS AND HAV TO DO THYNGS TO MAYK KEENOWS LYKE ME!"

He holds out the doll and waits expectantly.

*looks up from her latest girlie magazine and flutters her long lashes, eyeing the pair*

Why, if it isn't for the most grotesquely adorable thing I've seen since that shaved Gnome ran around the tavern in nothing but his underpants...  Pray tell, you two, why don't you become each other's Erollisi Day dates?  You are so inperfect for each other it makes perfectly good sense...  Just look at you two...

*eyes Mabb*

You know, I could help you become a little more.......soft to the touch and the eye if you come by my spa this afternoon... I'll make sure they manicure your talons, moisturize that rag over your head that people mistake for your hair, and perhaps sandpaper your skin to a satiny glossy finish...  Maybe then Sunbeam will actually have to fight other Ogres and Trolls for your affection...

*smiles at Mabb*

Anyway, speaking of Erollisi, I have to have my assistant get several crates so she can collect all the love letters and presents I will be receiving from all my adoring fans and devoted admirers....  Oh, it's so tough sometimes to keep up...
